I’d love to see Ireland. Got drunk in some tiny irish pub by the sea and moan about my problems to the bartender while the fiddle band plays in the corner. Maybe fall in love with a bonnie lass and gallivant through the meadows.

Climbing is good, but its not just about the top, thats just a clear goal you set so you can stop worrying about where you are heading and just enjoy the climb. Great sense of achievement when you get there though.

I wanted to do another overseas project, and Laos had the one that fitted my skills best.

Well, thats the boring answer. To be honest, I did a google image search of each of the cites that had a project on offer, and went with the one with best looking mountains. Had some good times there. Where you want to travel?

It is me.

I had been going downhill for awhile, but then decided that I just had to get past it somehow. I called up an old friend and we hiked to the top of a local hill. This was me opening up my arms to the world and the future. Your description was interesting.
I was standing on top of the world.
I was accepting that I was smaller than it.
I was questioning the authority of parents etc.
And I still had a level of delusional arrogance about being able to overcome anything.

lol… i suppose i lined myself up for that one… i just find things get crazy when im in love… cant concentrate on anything but my man… i love deeply and honestly, and a little too easily so i guess my answer to your question would have to be yes… :D
