  Hi friend;
  Today I had my Dr. session and a rehab session in one day! I did well and I am ready to get this knee finally working for me again.
  
  The leg is a little skinny not too bad really - I guess the leg lifts helped keep the muscle in it.
  
  As far as clothes go I just wear summer dresses which made it easy to do the exercises and take the immobolizer off. At first I wore a moo-moo type dress all the time - I hate that dress now - it has these big ugly flowers on it. Yeah when I had my accident I had my favorite jeans on and of course they cut off the leg to get to me knee.
  
  Well I guess it is time to do a set of exercises and get this banged up knee healed.
  
  New Zealand sounds fantastic - I love the country and where I live now which I have lived all my life used to be just a little town and now it has grown big and it is sad. All the crime and drugs - it is a bummer.

  New Zealand right? Lucky you! I hear that it is beautiful and not just anybody can live there. Thats what I have heard anyways.
  
  I am a little scared of taking off the immobolizer because the knee is so weak - I am afraid it will just buckle on me and down I go. I have to walk up and down stairs in my apt to take my dog out to pee so I think I will just put on the immobolizer when I do that.
  
  Darn I have 3 more weeks to go before driving? I miss my freedom.

  Hey thanks for all the advice and help! Did you have your wires taken out? Did you still have to go through another recovery? Or was that easy for you?
  Yes I am pretty active - I have a hard time sitting for too long however when that knee starts aching and hurting I have to sit down.
  How long has it been since your surgery?
  How long till you were able to drive?
  Sorry about all the questions.
  What part of this big world are you from? I am in CA, USA.

  Hi amliaearthlin;
  Thankyou for your reply! My knee is wired and has a screw in the middle. The wires are coming out in two months. My Dr says I am 1/3 of the way through the process. I have a straight immobilizer and Tues I am going to be able to take the immobilizer off and start therapy. I can move around on crutches but the knee is stiff so I still can not drive. I also do some exercises. How did you get your knee moving around without pain?
