  Wow. Just… wow.
  
  I didn’t log into the forum for the last 6 days, I come back and.. wow.
  
  I’ve read each and every one of the replies, including Max, DrRalph’s, and Alyssa. I’m sorry that you have that picture of ALL of us.
  
  The worst part? Well, the worst part is that I can’t be mad at you and your points of view, because you don’t really know nothing, and I said since the beggining that all answers would be accepted, so my word stands.
  
  However, I repeat. You don’t really know nothing about mexican immigrants, and I don’t blame anyone of you. It’s just that it seems you compare them to animals or plagues, and that really REALLY bugged me. It is hard enough for a normal person to leave their families. Now imagine to leave your family, knowing all the risks and the perks of the fact that they will be hunted down, not just by the border police, but also inside Mexico, and inside your country. They have no really safe place.
  
  Now you might be thinking “Oh this girl is being too much of an idiot to see the reality of the situation and the fact that they don’t pay taxes and live awesomely since they avoid them and they send money outside our US” or whatever.
  
  Are you kidding? Most of them don’t have a decent job because they are MEXICAN. And expect them to have a decent income and pay taxes? Don’t tell me that most of the times being Mexican isn’t the same as being an illegal immigrant, even though I have a VISA as a tourist or whatever kind. It might be true that probably you guys won’t show any racist or discriminative behaviour towards one of them, but truth be told, it is ******* common in the other side of the border line any kind of mistreat towards latin americans, not just mexican people.
  
  But then again, I respect your opinion, even if it pisses me of just a little bit.

  In order to be good at something, you must have the skill, right?
  
  Talent and skill are quite different things. Now, if you want to materialize your ideas, you can LEARN how.
  
  Take art or drawing courses, it really really helps.
  
  It’s like, you can have this awesome musical ideas, but you don’t know how to play the piano or any basic instrument at all. So you get discouraged since you know nothing… so you leave aside those awesome ideas.
  
  Noo man, you must learn piano basics, and work it all over. By the end, I will have the skill and the ideas, and as a result, I will probably see most of my ideas turn to reality.

  Dude how many years old are you?
  I know someone, oh god, he told exactly the same words you’ve written…
  
  He used to be shy, and there were literally one, or two living individuals in his whole word that would see him to be more loose, and not shy. Of course, he hated the fact that he wasn’t as outgoing as most people at the classroom, or at least as an average dude.
  
  He was really really realllllllllllly shy. Buy hey, it was just part of his essence and I respected that, but guys at school can be really rude, and won’t really give a **** if he is or he isn’t nice or a cool person. They would just pick at him and piss him off just because he didn’t really talk like.. at all?
  
  He knew that and that his non-speakiness was the main problem, and he hated that, and himself for it. But well, I could just only be there for him and try to encourage him not to think like that.
  
  Anyways, he loved drawing and painting and stuff, so he got into an art club, and there he didn’t really talk much either, but he got to socialize with other people besides his family and me. And that ACTUALLY helped to overcome his shyness.
  
  From there, I tried to encourage him to get into other clubs too besides his art club, and he blew me away until I (don’t remember how) got to convince him to get into this newspaper project (I don’t know how it is in english… periódico escolar???).
  
  It seemed that he was really good at it, and he really enjoyed it. His project mates got to know him and to like him better during those exhausting hours of team work, and somehow, he started to be less and lessss shy. I mean, I’m not saying he turned into a casanova or NOTHING like that. I’m just saying that he was different, in a good way.
  
  
  Lol IDK I think that doing things besides school and meeting people he would’nt really meet in a normal situation worked for him, and maybe iit would work out for you too.

  I think I have to strongly disagree with you on this one. I think my country has all the potential and resources to greatly overcome situations like the one you mentioned, and many others we are really aware of.
  
  We just need the correct mind set, and the will-power of each one of the citizens to change the things that are wrong, and see more progress around.
  
  I don’t mean to sound cocky, or in denial of our problems. I just have faith in my country, and that we have good opportunities to progress and be better than we are right now, no need to get attached to any country.
  
  
  But thanks for your opinion though.
