No you have great English! I completely get what you are saying about it being a great place to live if you know the rules and use common sense. Every place is like that. Except where I live actually, it’s like the most boring town in the country where the only criminals are bored eighth graders who spray paint misspelled dirty words on a couple of fences in an attempt to be gangsters. I really do understand what you are saying. I guess people from where I’m from might just have a lot of trouble because they are so used to rural neighborhoods and would be the numpties to leave their doors and cars unlocked in Mexico City because they do it at home safely.
I liked your point of view too. It made me think. So if someone comes to the USA when they go home they are in trouble? I would never have imagined that. You seem to have a lot of money for someone in Mexico so I Googled Culiacan and it seems like a really nice place to live.
Actually one of my best friends was born in Mexico. He joined the US army during the Korean War to gain citizenship. They used to let people become citizens if they fought in a war for us. He is about 80 years old and actually I met him because I dated his daughter for a while.
Anytime señorita :)
And I do think your people’s have influenced many many people worldwide
Than most would like to admit
Anyway peace and love offerings Mexican :)
It would be nice to share time with you
And have your friendship
Be well
Congratulations! That was a really cool idea for a project, frankly I’d be scared to do the same sort of thing for the USA, I’d expect a lot of unfair responses. I think Mexico is pretty similar to the United States. I guess its government is sort of corrupt, but so is every government including the USA’s so whatever. The US media talks a lot about the drug related violence that goes on there, so that is probably why so many think that there are drug cartels running around killing everyone which is definitely a magnification of the problem. I really think the US should allow more immigrants. So many of the illegals from Mexico work really hard to make a living, I think it would be good for everyone to allow more of them in. So what is Mexico really like?
Hehe I kinda regret it, it sounds a tad toolish, but at the time I thought it was cool because the world and I and everyone else is always on the verge of something like a breakthrough, a collapse, whatever. I was thinking about gradually changing it from verge to dirge to dirt until I got somewhere I liked, but I’ve gotten pretty used to verge now.
lol…I hear you, but I don’t think I could live like that. Here if tell someone off or scream at them the people on the street would kick your asss..lol. It’s pretty safe. A little cold and expensive, but very safe. If we do have a crime, they know within minutes.
Actually, it’s kinda funny since I got used to all the news and stuff. But yeah, right now it is quite dangerous to go on road here. “Narcos” and criminals like them seem to feel kind of free over here, but heck maan, it’s not like we are aaaalways locked up at home ;)
Canada is getting warmer too..whoo hoo:)
My insomnia is acting up a bit too, but I’m doing fine. We’ve been getting a lot of scary publicity about vacationing in Mexico here.
They claim the drug wars make it dangerous…who knows…they probably say the same about us.
I hope you are OK, friend from mexico…I think the swine flu has changed and isnt as deadly as it was…I have been reading a lot about it on the internet and it seems like it may have already mutated and become less dangerous.. I will pray for you in Mexico. It must be hard for you right now.. Rob
