  no, the way i did it was I made it 8y-9=3y-2x instead of 0=3y-2x/8y-9… once i had it set up where one equals the other, then i was able to whittle it down to my answer above…

  but i dont know if that is right, thats why i asked if it had to be an expression or a number…
