i don’t live there so i don’t know the whole picture, but i suspect the reason your parents are getting divorced is because of your father’s abuse of alcohol. my parents got divorced when i was six years old so i know that no one wants to see their parents get a divorce. there are times however when it may be best for all involved, especially those who are innocent. if your father is not willing to get help in overcoming his alcohol abuse, things could get really ugly one day and be even worse than a divorce. however if he is serious about getting help i believe everyone deserves a second chance. - written 2 years, 11 months ago
