I worked hard all my life and would like to continue working if I can find a job. Two of my doctors suggested that I apply for SSI Disability, but I will work as long as I can. In 2000 I had a heart attack while working for a company for 5 1/2 years.
I was on sick leave for six weeks. Two weeks into my sick leave I was called in and terminated. Their reason was that they needed someone who is going to be there. My mortgage was only 323.00 a month(who can’t make that?) Things started going downhill from there. I took temp jobs because that was the only way I could get my foot in the door, jobwise. I went from one temp job after another with gaps in between. That is why I couldn’t keep up with the mortgage payments. I eventually lost my home of ten years in 2005. My situation has gotten increasingly worse over recent years. So, now am posting my story on this site.
