  Do your girlfriend a favour and split up with her…. Thats the only advice I can give. Your not the person who needs comforting or advice… It’s the girlfriend you have at home, as you worry about some girl in the office isn’t paying you attention.

  Whether people intend to follow through with their actions or not is irelevant. people want help and are obviously upset. Thats why they come on here, they want someone to listen.
  And its a good job they dont all find people with ignorant mindsets as yours.

  It’s always easier to see things from a different perspective. Though I’ve been in your posistion and also in his.
  
  What I would say is that, maybe its time to move one. At the moment, it sounds like he clearly needs his own space. If he does want to get back with you, he will only realise that when your not in the scene any more. He will notice what he’s missed. At the moment he probably still doesnt feel as though he has had time to himself.
  
  It sounds like you really love him. And it must be hard; though you should probably put yourself first for the time being. Go out and enjoy yourself, do things that maybe you couldnt have done when you and him were together. And If he does realise that it was a mistake and he loves you to and wants to be with you, he will come back, and then its your decision. But if he doesnt, then you’ve made the right decision anyway, and you can start to put your life on the right track wihtout him.
  
  Being friends with your ex is also hard. I’ve tried it, and it rarley works, especially if there are still feelings there, and things un-sorted.
  You need to give him space. Otherwise this friendship will drag on until you fall out or have an argument, rendering any possible re-connection impossible in the future.

  Rebounds are unlikely in my present circumstances… But I guess you never know. Right now all I want is to fast forward till I don’t care. But that’s not possible.

  Yeah. I definitely don’t want to hang around for her… As much as all I want is that. But I’m too proud. Which may have been the problem. But I can’t grovel.
  
  My girlfriend/ex may have killed the idea of lovely women for at least a few months. For now they are pits of confusion and despair.

  Yeah I can already feel the urge to whack on the sentimental music… I may have to re-adjust my i-pod a little. Get some of my angry rock going.
