My partner and I operated a very successful collection agency for many years. In early 2003, my partner decided that he wanted to buy me out; I was a little reluctant at first, because I had been doing the same thing for 19 years. Needless to say, I did agree.
The collection industry is easy when you know the game, and my first thought was to continue playing the game. Early one morning, I decided to search the Internet, looking for anything that truly helped the debtor.
All I found was information pertaining to the FDCPA, attorneys who want to make an easy buck, or debt consolidation companies trying to get paid. It was then that I determined this was to be my calling, and to put an end to this vicious cycle.
What better way can I help someone out of a truly bad situation than leveling the playing field for all? I am the first and only collection agency owner who tells all, opening the doors to the world, so everyone can better understand third party debt collection.
