  well, props to you for being able to work at a place like that. i worked at a rehabilitation clinic for the terminally ill for 2 years and i did it for FREE. haha it was def. hard for me as well. The only thing i can say is for you to do what makes you happy. Because in the end thats all that really matters. If you don’t want to be there then don’t. Your partner, if they really care about you, should understand this.

  whoa…..it sounds kind of like you being controlling might not be the issue…
  If you only see her for this amount of time and she thinks its too much, and she likes to cuddle up too other guys, you might be in for more than you thought. It sounds to me like its not you but her thats the problem here. If a girl is in a relationship with someone she truly cares about she should WANT to spend time with you and she shouldn’t under any circumstances be cuddling up to another guy.

  This sounds all too familiar. I have gone through and am recovering from almost the same senerio. Life is tough and we all make decisions every day that make it tougher or better. The best thing to do is to first stop drinking and smoking. I know it will be hard but you will feel better. Next, you need to realize how lucky you are just to be in school. So many people would love to be in your shoes right now! Everything happens for a reason and you, my friend, need to understand this. Take this as day one of your rehab to life. You need to start careing more about just doing better in school and finding your passion in life so that you can use your schooling to pursue it. You dont need a shrink or any type of medicine to realize this. Find a healthier addiction and concentrate on this. In the end do what is going to make you happy longterm, not for the moment.
