Wow, I had no idea.. its amazing how you think you know someone and then be completely wrong.. I thought she was amazing for what she was going through and still managed to come on here and help.. guess I wasn’t seeing the whole picture.. Then again, suppose most people don’t come here if they don’t have problems themselves…

What about Queen Elizatron? or whatever she was called.. she was going through a really hard time when I last saw.. do you know what happened with her?

Yeah true.. I used to come here allll the time when I was unemplyed for about 4 months.. but thankfully I got a job and just havnt had time.. and was just wondering how she was doing.. She really liked a guy and I hope she had the guts to speak to him! :)

First of all I can understand why your parents are so worried because I don’t think you quite understand the massive decision you’re making. Moving your entire life for a guy who is much older than you, when to be fair, you don’t know what he is like in person (even though you have already met…? I find it strange you have already met, how did you meet each other in person?

a 17 year old is a completely different stage in their life to a 32 year old. I know there are no rules, but you should be going out with a social group of friends and enjoying being a teenager. Not looking to settle down with a man much older than you. You have your whole life ahead of you, and if he (at 32) is chatting to 15/16 year old girls, I think this guy needs to have his computer taken away from him!!

If this is one of those one off cases where something might happen, the ONLY option.. let me repeate.. the ONLY option is for him to move to you. I bet he doesn’t. Sorry to sound negative, but I think that’s the way it is.

on “Sabrina the teenage witch” the song “shake your whammy fanny” was edited as it was imported over here..

One of the weirdest things I found recently was.. the US had “Teenage mutant ninja turtles” but the BBFC edited it for the UK and we had/have “Teenage mutant hero turtles” and all the scenes where Michaelangelo had his nun-chucks (sp?) were edited out because they were seen as too dangerous! Crazy…

I think some of the things said are interesting even though both languages are ‘english’..

“Car hire on holiday”.. in america becomes “car rental on vacation”

uk - usa (probably inc canada)

rubbish = “garbage”
chips = “fries”
crisps = “chips”
motorway = “highway”

Theres plenty more.. but yeah, I’m a “Brit” lol
