Thank you for your support on my post:) Unfortunately, the mods ate me alive, closed my post and the traffic(volume, not members) didn’t support me. If anything it discouraged me, plus my real life friends said “it is what is is”
I moved on to another project, but I’m still around to listen or help if I can:)
Please don’t accuse people of being trolls or being trollish in posts as it can upset/offend some people and even incite arguments.
If you think a post/reply/shout to be of a “troll” nature or you think breaks the TOU then click the red flag to report and then it can be dealt with properly with little fuss.
I am energized by being an analyst and problem-solver and being appreciated for being perceptive and practical. That means new and interesting problems give me energy.
I am drained by constant invitations and posts from “friends” who want reassurances for problems they don’t really want to solve. That means confronting the same issue in the same person over and over with no change makes me unhappy.
Hence, I feel better without friends. I don’t want to choose some and not others so I figure its best to operate in a pure meritocracy. People respect me or not for my help and its results, not for my “friend” status.
Dr. Ralph is a friend of mine and is even more sarcastic and more honest than me. He calls it like he sees them. He does not beat around the bush. So I think that is why. Someone who did not like one of his responses and replies to their posts.
I have seen people call him names and report him but, I’m guessing it’s only temporary. He must be rearing to come back. He is one of the few permanent fixtures of the site. I don’t think is permanent.
Just wait a couple of days. I don’t think is a big deal.
OK, just re-read the chimp bit.
I was reacting to your slant at natedawg12345678
I tend to react with the perceived same attitude of anyone who attacks anyone else so when you replied:
still trying to look cool, huh? you wouldn’t know cool if it stared you in the face, nate’dawg’ give it a rest. you’re no match for us.
…I felt protective over the imbecile who offended you, I felt like you over-reacted. I over-reacted in proportion (as seen by me) to your over-reaction.
I just get a bit narked when somone has a go in an over the top kind of way; admittedly, like I always do.
Hope this helps you understand my psychology a bit.
OK, moving on, death, can’t wait. I visited it the first time for only 5 minutes but now (I don’t care if you think I’m crazy btw) I can visit it any time after about 15 minutes of deep meditation. It’s the same place I went to and the key to getting there is the same as the key to the explanation of the afterlife itself. I think the Buddhist philosophy has it closest. Something like this but don’t quote me, I was shown this on the other side. We are all born with a neutral tone, like a resonance and when (as everyone does) we do something which is good it changes, lets say it goes higher for arguments sake. Now when (also, as everyone does at some point) someone does something good, their “resonance” goes up (each in proportion to their wrong or right doing). Upon “death” as we call it, we retain this resonance, sometimes this manifests in the form of ghosts (those who had unfinished business on the planet and refused to leave, or couldn’t see the way). Consider the resonance as a sorting algorithm from good to bad which doesn’t discriminate against any, each of the countless groups (of behavior) can ascend or descend (slightly) by positive or negative belief.
Maybe you already have questions so I’ll leave it there, if you do, I’ll be happy to tell.
After life? I’ve been there, I’ve seen it, I wasn’t hallucinating.
Attitude? Sorry, just banter. It gets me in trouble so often. If I was harsh, it’s probably me, the way I see things is different. I have tourets, dyslexia and mild autism. Tourets is the inability to lie but when faced with the social option, to expand excessively your true view. Sorry if I offended you, just my interpretation of your words.
well, cheap is relative. they make 4 times as much working for us then they would back home, but compared to our usual contractor prices, still more or less 50% cheaper. they care about gynan tonix inc because they’re happy with that kind of money and would like to keep working here, and if i’m not happy with them, they catch the next truck back.
and it’s a little more then being the middleman - i’d like to think of it as ‘quality control division’ ;) we’ll be at the sites, overseeing the whole operation.
we got 2 cheques already, my partners and mine. as a testdrive for the first company we’re going to work with, we’re doing our own houses first. they have about 50 people of all sorts of trades, ‘ready to be deployed’, so i want to see how fast asap can really be, at what cost. these can later be shown to prospective clients as model houses as well.
the concept could easily be copied (i’m doing it, for one) but imo the way this could work better for us then for our competitors if because i’m sure we can get serious teamefforts from those guys, with a little honey…
and as far as i know no one is doing it yet in our region. i’ve actually looked for them, because i wanted to do my house, but both price & timing offers i got on it from the companies i contacted were ridiculous, so i thought ‘if you want somehting done right, you have to do it yourself’. and hence…
anyway, thanks a lot for your input - i’ll definitely keep it in mind :)
Hm. Well I have to say that I hear a lot of pitches about guys who want to be middlemen that place all the risk and paperwork on other people. The problem with this is the only way for you to succeed and build your brand is to focus on all the key aspects of getting the work done. Cheap labour doesn’t give a shit about “gynan tonix Inc.” if you know what I mean.
I also often hear pitches about more for less. The problem is you commoditize yourself when you compete on price. You really want to compete based on a strategic chain of characteristics that competitors cannot easily copy. The only way to find that is to talk to customers and advisors and find out what they will really sign cheques for.
I have to warn you that plenty of people cheer ideas. But the only person who matters is the one who signs a cheque for you.
I think someone who works with construction companies would be a better bet for you! Commercial insurance companies are great too. They know all about stuff that goes wrong which helps you avoid problems.
Changing careers is all about skill inventories (ie transferable skills). I bet you have lots of great contacts already. Also make a point of visiting accountants. They seem to have hooks into every kind of interesting business. Lawyers are good too. Take some out to lunch and tell them what you want to do!
You’re most welcome. When you’ve gone through that process and developed lots of experience, then you productize your service and move from a consulting business to a product business. It’s the smartest way to go. (as an amazing example, RIM… makers of the Blackberry)
if you don’t like me to get sentimental, that’s ok as well.
the thing with theories is you can’t back them up, short of with ‘circumstantial evidence’ - they’re not facts (yet). i tend to believe then when there’s smoke, there is or was a fire.
i don’t inspire to interest you - if you are by nature interested in what i have to say, i’ll gladly talk some more, otherwise, if this is not ‘worth your time’ then get off your lazy ass and do your own research.
i think the ark was supercharged because they needed it to be - they built it to that purpose - to make the monatomic gold. did you read that text?
i think they made us, because that’s what their statement says (ref sumerian tablets, did you read that text? [God said, ‘let us make man in our image, in our likeness’. Notice a plural is used for God. In the Old Testament Genesis account it states, ‘male and female created he them and he called their name Adam’. Older writings use the more complete name Adama which means ‘Earthling’.]
we may share 98% of their dna with chimpanzees, but we also share 40-50% of our dna with cabbages. and, we weren’t spliced with them, they just took what was there and improved it. much like we’re doing these days with fruits for instance.
Well, damn you have to get all sentimental and stuff. I’m sorry, I do have an open mind, and really I’ve had some pretty cooky theories myself.
If you want to interest me, you have to be able to back up your claims, otherwise it’s hardly worth my time. So if you want to the ark was supercharged, you’d better be giving me reasons.
Tell me why you think these annuaki were the ones to make us. If they did, I want to know. I just find it more likely that the paleontologists who have found a lineage of ancient monkeys slowly becoming more man like and using tools.
The neanderthals, for the most part, went extinct because we killed them, by out sporting them.
It might also be worth noting that we have 98% the same DNA as orangutans, not very likely if were spliced with aliens.
But why would super-conductors use anti-matter? It explodes a million times more potent than a nuclear bomb does within plank seconds of touching normal matter, like oh say the super-conductor…
Anti-gravity?! No no no man. Do you have any idea how much power we’d need to make antigravity work on earth? Gravitational force is the weakest force we know about. You would need so many electrons in the superconductor that their mass would put out a higher gravitational field than the earths. I think the mass difference between a proton and an electron is like 10^-36 or something like that. It would be just insane.
No, no, no super-conductors, with say 30,000 teslas would create a large enough magnetic field to float you! See water is diamagnetic, meaning in a magnetic field, it has induced opposite magnetic field and they balance each other out; thus you’d float! We’ve done it with frogs and that’s how the maglev trains work.
I hope you know that some people, very knowledgeable people, often get a kick out of writing stuff like this. Same thing with crop circles. They’re often atheists and scientists who thinks it’s funny to see how gullible people are. I’ve listened to them admit it proudly!
And what the hell is he talking about when he says that sounds like a super conductor?!
We’ve made superconductors, but they’re all at extremely low temperatures. The warmest to date is 170.3 k, far as I know. There is a race to make a room temperature super-conductor. The possible uses are almost limitless, like wearing a belt that would make you float, and fly you to work :D
I mean the guy says: “the really incredible thing is what happens to the metal…after over a minute of being under temperatures found on the surface of the sun…it glows bright white and all that’s left is a white powder” The same thing happens to magnesium at like a hundred degrees. That’s an element too you know!
And more importantly, he doesn’t leave any sources. He doesn’t give you anything to back up his claims.
Like really? I’m expected to believe that nothing and no one lived for 66 million years? Like what the fuck is that all about? We’ve only been here for some odd 6 million years or something and look at all that we’ve done and made for ourselves. Yet I’m expected to believe that the world was a midst an ice age for 66 million years, just waiting for us to arrive? How arrogant of us…
I have considered that perhaps we are in fact aliens… ha ha albeit not a well structured theory, but a theory nonetheless.
