Yeah you are right I mean I try to I just need to do a better job doing some of the things I do. I know I just freak out a bit if I don’t lift weights it’s just sooo routine for me you know. Well I am sorry that you don’t have time for a long response that woulda been nice. Anyways as to my friends situation yeah you are right about your response but I think the person who replied after makes sense he engages in life risking activities because he has low self esteem and kinda is suicidal behavior to be honest he doesn’t really have a passion for anything he is a mindless military solider as they want him to be. I.E. small clicks and family’s would form and then others would want to join them and then next thing you know were back to the way things are some what now that is people battling for power and security and to spread their beliefs because they feel it’s the right belief. I wish I could detach my self from materialistic goods I feel like I’ve done a decent job so far. Also yesterday I think I added another thing to my list of what I want in a woman. I want her to be able to eat healthy and enjoy that vegetarian cuisine and vegan as well just some one who is into taking care of them selves you know I would even pick up jogging cause then I could have some one to run with. I often wonder if I am such a complicated individual and that is why it is hard for me to make “true” friends or even find “true” love I question everything about this world I can’t just look at something and accept it with out wanting to do research into it. Wow that sounds like a lot to deal with. I had an intense emotional day yesterday I mean it was good in the sense I’m still alive and I bought a sweet new pair of sunglasses a little like the aviators only more square and chrome out lining they are as you say “fresh” lol but just me and my friend were walking around and I just couldn’t tell if any 1 was checking me out or not and if they were they seemed like they were the rich up tight girls that would want you to buy them a f’n car and to be honest unless I become a pro bodybuilder I really don’t see me making that kind of money. I accepted that. Then just I played basketball at a park with some friends which sucks cause the hoop was like 1 or 2 feet shorter then what i’m used to shooting on so I didn’t play as well plus the ball had no bounce or grip so I had a shitty game. There was this girl there and she was pretty cute and she has a lisp i think bcuz of her braces but she was really hot and I mean I’m happy for my friend but at the same time I was like wtf is she doing with him if some1 like me came up he would get his shit rocked and I just guess I always felt like girls wanted to be able to feel secure and safe if they were out and about with a guy. I mean as bad as it sounds because of that I just became fucking furious and I made a giant snow wheel. It was funny though because all my friends when it tipped over individually they tried to lift the damn thing but didn’t…and I could do it with 1 freakin arm and just I don’t know it’s hard for me 2 admit that I get jealous but in a way I was because it’s something I want a girl with a decent body and sorta cute and a personality that compliments mine or brings out a better side of me. Then last night I had a dream about my ex and if my sixth senses are right which they are like 90% of the time I am almost more then certain my ex is back in the military and that made me just get furious in the middle of the night and have a break down and for what ever reason my wrist is sore and I dont know if I will be able to lift today and that pisses me off. Just work is hard to come by and to be honest I feel fat if I don’t lift weights. Plus another thing is I feel like I’m an out cast amongst girls these days because I do read books and I really don’t care about UFC or any of that stuff. I will watch boxing but that’s about it. Plus the fact that I care about more then my own life I care about the way the world is being run I care about stopping a war I care about being able to release my self from being a materialistic person. Plus honestly it seems like no girls like a guy who is 5′9 maybe almost 5′10 weighs 197 and lifts weights 6 days a week (unless i’m hurt) I mean I feel like I am a good person I feel like I deserve to have that special some 1. I mean I take care of my self I mean I shave my arms and legs cause that hair disgusts me. I am not a vegetarian or vegan but I enjoy their cuisine I like middle eastern/greek food more then Italian. Hey it’s fine I know things come up just glad to see you got back. So I drank last night. Yeah it did bring them down a few knotches on the old belt. well one of the reasons why it’s looked down on soo much is the fact that it is a strong religion. We as Muslims are strong people. 30 FACTS about ISLAM

1) “Islam” means “peace through the submission to God”.

2) “Muslim” means “anyone or anything that submits itself to the will of God”.

3) Islam is not a cult. Its followers number over 1.5 billion worldwide. Along with Judaism and Christianity, it is considered to be one of the three Abrahamic traditions.

4) There are five pillars of practice in Islam. These practices must be undertaken with the best of effort in order to be considered a true Muslim: A) Shahadah - declaration of faith in the oneness of God and that Muhammad is the last prophet of God. B) Formal prayer five times a day. C) Fasting during the daylight hours in the month of Ramadan. D) Poor-due “tax” - 2.5f one’s savings given to the needy at the end of each year. E) Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once, if physically and financially able.

5) There are six articles of faith in Islam. These are the basic beliefs that one must have in order to be considered a true Muslim. They are belief in: A) the One God. B) all the prophets of God. C) the original scriptures revealed to Prophets Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad. D) the angels. E) the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. F) the divine decree (or destiny).

6) Islam is a complete way of life that governs all facets of life: moral, spiritual, social, political, economical, intellectual, etc.

And the word Allah in Arabic appears on the walls of many Arab churches.

10) The Islamic concept of God is that He is loving, merciful, and compassionate. But Islam also teaches that He is just and swift in punishment. Nevertheless, Allah once said to Prophet Muhammad, “My mercy prevails over my wrath.” Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope, protecting one from both complacency and despair.

11) Muslims believe that God has revealed 99 of His names (or attributes) in the Holy Qur’an. It is through these names that one can come to know the Creator. A few of these names are: the All-Merciful, the All-Knower, the Protector, the Provider, the Near, the First, the Last, the Hidden, and the Source of Peace.

12) Muslims believe in and acknowledge all the prophets of old, from Adam to Jesus. Muslims believe that they brought the message of peace and submission (islam) to different peoples at different times. Muslims also believe that these prophets were “muslims” because they submitted their wills to God.

13) Muslims neither worship Muhammad nor pray through him. Muslims solely worship the unseen and Omniscient Creator, Allah.

14) Muslims accept the original unaltered Torah (the Gospel of Moses) and the original Bible (the Gospel of Jesus) since they were revealed by God. However, none of those original scriptures are in existence today, in their entirety. Therefore, Muslims follow the subsequent, final, and preserved revelation of God, the Holy Qur’an.

15) The Holy Qur’an was not authored by Muhammad. It was authored by God, revealed to Muhammad, and written into physical form by his companions..

16) The Holy Qur’an has no flaws or contradictions. The original Arabic scriptures have never been changed or tampered with.

17) Actual seventh century Qur’ans, complete and intact, are on display in museums in Turkey and many other places around the world.

18) If all Qur’ans in the world today were burned and destroyed, the original Arabic would still remain. This is because millions of Muslims, called Hafiz (or “preservers”) have memorized the text letter for letter from beginning to end, every word and syllable. Also, chapters from the Qur’an are precisely recited from memory by every Muslim in each of the five daily prayers.

19) Muslims do not believe in the concept of “vicarious atonement” but rather believe in the law of personal responsibility. Islam teaches that each person is responsible for his or her own actions. On the Day of Judgment Muslims believe that every person will be resurrected and will have to answer to God for their every word, thought, and deed. Consequently, a practicing Muslim is always striving to be righteous.

20) Islam was not spread by the sword. It was spread by the word (Islamic teachings) and the example of its followers. Islam teaches that there is no compulsion in religion (the Holy Qur’an 2:256 and 10:99).

21) Terrorism, unjustified violence and the killing of innocent people are absolutely forbidden in Islam. Islam is a way of life that is meant to bring peace to a society, whether its people are Muslim or not. The extreme actions of those who claim to be Muslim may be, among other things, a result of their ignorance or uncontrolled anger. Tyrant rulers and those who commit acts of terrorism in the name of Islam are simply not following Islam. These people are individuals with their own views and political agendas. Fanatical Muslims are no more representative of the true Islamic teachings than Timothy McVeigh or David Koresh are of Christianity. Extremism and fanaticism is a problem that is common to all religious groups. Anyone who thinks that all Muslims are terrorists should remember that the famous boxer Muhammad Ali, perhaps the most celebrated person of our era, is a practicing Muslim. How ever if you look athe verses in the Quran .190. Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors.

2.191. And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.

2.192. But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

2.193. And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah. But if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.

22) The word “jihad” does not mean “holy war”. Instead, it means the inner struggle that one endures in trying to submit their will to the will of God. Some Muslims may say they are going for “jihad” when fighting in a war to defend themselves or their fellow Muslims, but they only say this because they are conceding that it will be a tremendous struggle. But there are many other forms of jihad which are more relevant to the everyday life of a Muslim such as the struggles against laziness, arrogance, stinginess, or the struggle against a tyrant ruler or against the temptation of Satan, or against one’s own ego, etc.

23) Women are not oppressed in Islam. Any Muslim man that oppresses a woman is not following Islam. Among the many teachings of Prophet Muhammad that protected the rights and dignity of women is his saying, “…the best among you are those who treat their wives well.” (Tirmidhi)

24) Islam grants women numerous rights in the home and in society. Among them are the right to earn money, to financial support, to an education, to an inheritance, to being treated kindly, to vote, to a dowry, to keep their maiden name, to worship in a mosque, etc., etc.

25) Muslim women wear the head-covering (hijab) in fulfillment of God’s decree to dress modestly. From a practical standpoint, it serves to identify one as attempting to follow God in daily life and, therefore,
26) Arranged marriages are allowed in Islam but are not required. Whereas “forced” marriages, usually stemming from cultural practice, are forbidden. Divorce is permissible, however, reconciliation is what is most encouraged. But if there are irreconcilable differences then Islam permits a fair and just divorce.

27) Islam and the “Nation of Islam” are two different religions. Islam is a religion for all races and enjoins the worship of the one unseen God who, orthodox Muslims believe, never took human form. The “Nation”, on the other hand, is a movement geared towards non-whites and teaches that God appeared in the form of Fard Muhammad in 1930 and that Elijah Muhammad (a man who died in 1975) was a prophet of God. These beliefs clearly contradict the basic Islamic theology outlined in the Qur’an. The followers of “the Nation” adhere to some Islamic principles that are mixed with many other teachings that are alien to Islam. To better understand the difference between the two, read about Malcolm X, his pilgrimage to Mecca and his subsequent comments to the media. Islam teaches equality amongst all the races (Holy Qur’an 49:13).

28) All Muslims are not Arab. Islam is a universal religion and way of life which includes followers from all races of people. There are Muslims in and from virtually every country in the world. Arabs only constitute about 20f Muslims worldwide. Indonesia has the largest concentration of Muslims with over 120 million.

29) In the five daily prayers, Muslims face the Kaaba in Mecca, Arabia. It is a cube-shaped stone structure that was originally built by Prophet Adam and later rebuilt by Prophet Abraham. Muslims believe that the Kaaba was the first house of worship on Earth dedicated to the worship of one god. Muslims do not worship the Kaaba. It serves as a central focal point for Muslims around the world, unifying them in worship and symbolizing their common belief, spiritual focus and direction. Interestingly, the inside of the Kaaba is empty.

30) The hajj is a simultaneous pilgrimage to the Kaaba made by millions of Muslims each year. It is performed to commemorate the struggles of Abraham, Ismail and Hagar
in submitting their wills to God.

Well I had to really think solid before I gave you an answer and honestly reading what you read touched me and made me tear up inside. I am also anti war. I am not sure why i’m 100% anti military, I guess its because you loe yourself with it, and you lose who you are. An Army of One. They want ONE person! 10,000 people being ONe person. Its a horrible thing, you lose all your individuality. Among other resons, but that is my most. I do understand joinging the military in these troubled times, but its a tough choice.
And that SUCKs that you broke up right after valentines day! We broke up August Third. He started dating his new girlfriend the same day. They’re pretty much engaged by now. Its tough to see. But i just flat out STOPPED talking to him! We were together for three and a half years. Yesterday would have been our four year. We tried the friends thing after, i’m just SUCH a naturally forgiving person that i tried until it was just TOO hard. a week before we broke up, he semi broke up with me, and then was like No i can’t do this, i love you too much, and we had sex and told me he loved me. That same week he ended up going to the cape with a few friends and then the next weekend he didn’t want to be with me anymomre, and sarted dating this other girl. He went to the cape wth her and cheated on me with her. I’m pretty sure it had happened before that aswell, but it wasn’t as open about it.
But now i’m with damon and its his birthday tomorrow. He’s acomplicatedcharacter, because today was the day his brother collapsed and went into a coma before he died. His birtday was just pushed over last year. Its his 21st, and he’s SO excited but so worried about stuff. i guess He’s had the WORST migrane for the last few days, but i think its because he’s so worried about things.
But this weekend i’m going to have his birthday dinner with him and his preants, and this will be the third time i’m meeting them as His girlfriend, i’m nervous!

When did you two break up? We broke up 3 days after valentines day which hurt a little bit more because she had started cheating on me on valentines day. YEAH and last night I walked over I’m like so I heard you wanna fight me wtf are you pissed about the whole lauren thing? and he was like FUCK YOU man your a bitch I was like ummm dude be a man and take responsibility or atleast be a man and be there for her while she is f’n scared and he was like fuck you nigga! and started to get ready to hit me i’m like wtf i just turned around and walked away I was like i’m not about to fight some 1 because he thinks I’m a bitch because I wanted him to go with her to buy a pregnancy test and be a REAL MAN and fucking just be there for her instead of playing 8th grade games. ugh it just was like wow… you know? But I haven’t talked to that 1 girl yet I am probably going there tonight though so I’m gonna wear a navy blue type shirt that has 87 on the thing it’s from anchor blue fairly preppy and it’s a little bit tighter then the pink 1 in the picture so hopefully it will show off my arms =) just I don’t even know. I hope things work out your way if not you have me and the rest of the wonderful people on help lol. I mean think about it like this…you could get any guy you want I mean you managed to get a guy (me) to wear a pink polo and take a picture and I haven’t even met you yet so what does that tell you? your a great catch don’t forget it =)

Well I’ve been having that feeling loneliness and instead of a kid to talk 2 I’ve had wierd sexual experiences n stuff i dunno just i consider it a catcher and the rye moment…and last night just chilling at this hookah bar and the waitress that was their was checking me out and my friend bailey who i was with was like dude she is seriously checking you out everytime she goes by she always glances at you blah so I feel good about that but am going to approach it as if the worse will happen..but for right now I am going to probably go down stairs and play metal gear solid 4 =) i love that game and just try and unwind.

Yes I have read the catcher and the rye it was kinda a sad book but it’s true that a lot of people feel lost and lonely you know? that is cool that you got to enjoy that today…I guess I enjoy reading on my back porch on a hot summer day i only read when it’s warm out! i dont know why… =( it’s just wierd… but I guess you could say I am having my own catcher and the rye issue actually being into something and trying to find a woman who is into it if you go back to the first shout i sent you that’s what i am referring about. I had hit a great depression for awhile but bounced back out of it recently because of this dream I had…but I feel at ease and peace. I just need to stay strong and just get over my ex type thing. I have been trying to find work but that’s all in the life of me. I’ve cut down a little more down to that 197 area…and just I am fairly happy just wish the weather would warm up in colorado so I can play basketball outside =) anything else i can help you with.

Hey I see you don’t get shouts on a regular basis so I will tell you…when my ex found out I was cheating on her she did the rules and boundary’s thing only she got very strict because she knew I didn’t want to lose her…so she spanked me like a kid =( and yes it did hurt very much and believe me after that I never thought about cheating again.

by the way, i’m sorry the winter affects you so much. my suggestion to you is force yourself to go out. i push myself to go dancing and keeping active really helps. especially in the winter. there’s a lot of good places in boston, and some of the best places are small and free to get in some nights. i just got back from 12 years in california, where there is no snow. did you live in austin as well? i’ve visited austin for a week back in ‘07. hope all is well.
