  Evil exists because of the disobediance of Satan. God gave everyone including the angels freewill which Satan used to disobey God. This is where evil began. God would love nothing more than to have everyone come up to be with Him, but it must be of their own freewill. God does not do these horrible things it is what man chooses to do with the freewill given to them that causes these things to happen.

  classicrock about Job (the man you were talking about) when his faith in God stayed steady at the end he was reward by double of what he lost. Also why would he be mad at God if he knew his family was going to Heaven. This didn’t ruin his life, he knew he would see them later. By the way, God didn’t do those bad things Satan did. Plus just because the New Testament doesn’t say Satan doesn’t mean they don’t talk about him.

  sorry classicrock1818 for arguing on your post it was not my intentions but it is hard not to on a topic like this. Like Silverwings said it is about faith. I’m not saying all other people are wrong or all Christians are right, but it is right for me. Simply saying what one believes to be true or one believes to be false is many times only that, a belief. Having faith in God doesn’t make me arrogant and not everyone will understand why I believe but I just do. What do you believe in classicrock1818?

  They weren’t wrong for believing in it, they were wrong for following it in my opinion because of what I believe. Plus what you are saying is since we can’t logically prove that there is a God then He must not exist at least that is what I am getting from what you are saying. I can say the same thing about the big bang. It seems to me that you have this mind set that all religious people are the same as well. If you really think about it science is a religion as well since it can’t all be proven logically and needs faith to stick by it.
