I think annonymous’s reply to secret summers was a reference to one of her previous posts in which she said that she apparently enjoys slapping her friend around like a cartoon character.
Beats me :-/
Well by adding water to the mixture, the salt dissolves in the water.
Separate water and sand; heat the sand till it’s dry. (You have the Sand)
Boil off the water, now have the Salt.
Sand in one container, and salt in another. And a very large energy bill.
Hey, my friend is battling anorexia/bulimia and I just wanted to tell you that it’s not really something she can control. It really is a medical problem and it’s a roller coaster battle for her; sometimes for long periods of time she’s fine, and then someone will make a “harmless” comment and since she’s extremely sensitive, she’ll stop eating again. It really sucks to have to force her to eat every time I’m hanging out with her.
I just thought you should know. Oh, and she also doesn’t look at overweight people and think that they should be anorexic like her. She knows she has a problem. She wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
Hi! Is there any chance you could help out with this post? I really need to log off … but I don’t want to just leave her in the lurch. http://help.com/post/461646-trying-to…
I’m going to leave you a shout-message simply because it seems like you use this feature much less than most others do, and I like to say hi if possible sometimes. So, Hi! :)
Sorry for the double shout, computer kind of wierded on me for a few seconds.
Does you BF have a stud detector? you can measure out the distances on the floor to determine the spacing. Commonly it is 16″, in some cases if it does not have a second story, the beams could be 24″.
Commonly, the wood laminate has been laid down over a primary sheathing, so it is actually up to 1″ thick depending on the thickness of the overlay.
If your BF is a bit of a handy man, I would recommend looking into it further from the basement side; or hire a contractor for assesment consultation.
Blue prints should also be available at the local city offices as they usually have to be submitted for approval of building codes, then are kept on record. It does not hurt to keep a copy for yourself and future plans (expansion/remodeling)
Hey there M -
I read your question on the floor. I am a bit confused on the basement set up. Are there floor beams resting on top of the basement wall, or are the suspended off the basement wall with hanger brackets?
Also, what is the spacing between the beams?
I am currently studying to be a Homes Inspector - almost done with the course. I have also built several homes over the years, so, I do know a bit.

I completely agree with you that my response was somewhat harsh. I didn’t know any other way to get it across that other people’s feelings count too. :) Any suggestions?
Hey! I spoke to you a while back regarding a guy I was talking to who’s locked up… I have a question for you. Please respond. I would love to give you my personal email address privately. Thank you.
So far, I’ve seen your replies result in either suggesting or not caring about suicide. That is breaking the ToS and might get you banned. I wouldn’t like to lose a member of the community over something silly like this.
