Maybe you should try and look at it this way: have in mind that now that the loved one is gone it can still “live” through you. It is now a part of you, since everything you shared will never be erased - as long as you live all these memories will be a part of you, and thus they will live as long as you do.
Cherish what you had with other people. We are here only for a while, and we’ll all be gone sooner or later. It can not be avoided. It is normal. So, when you think about people that are not with you anymore, do not be sad; be happy for the time you have spent with them. Count your blessings. It’s going to get better.
