“In the middle of the night, when you are fast asleep, a miracle happens and all the problems…
a clue, perhaps?

“The secret of the man who is universally interesting is that he is universally interested.”
One thing that’s very important in relationships is give an take… take a genuine and sincere interest in what people are saying and give honest and intelligent feedback and most people will quickly learn to like you, I’ve found.
I believe that being interesting is about asking the right questions, not necessarily having the right thing to say in response.
I guess I’m not sure how you’re being rude, so its sort of difficult for me to give advice, not like I’m the most qualified person to be giving advice on being interesting, since I consider myself kind of boring too.
Whatev. Good luck.

There is no magic fix for what you’re experiencing… I know, because I am also twenty and going through the same thing. I’m bored to tears, hating school, hating being alone because there’s nothing to do, nothing that really motivates me and makes me look forward to the next day.
The important thing for me is that I keep looking for help with psychiatrists and therapists, that I share how I’m feeling with those close to me. I refuse to give up.
You mentioned that there’s nothing you’re good at: perfect! Choose the thing you’re worst at or enjoy the most and just practice it until you hate it, and then practice some more. Take classes in it. I’m taking karate and am signed up on a waitlist for a dance class over the summer– I’m trying to get myself in the best physical shape possible. Train to run a marathon, take meditation classes, get a job, join a club… look for as many things as you can possibly do out there, until you realize that you’re not as alone as you’d like to think.
And if all else fails, tell someone, like a doctor, how you’re feeling. Don’t do anything drastic without telling someone.
