Ninja, I thought you were a 14 year old girl who had problems with weight loss…. you must have better advice then calling someone sweetie and baby. And the don’t you know that you shouldn’t msn message strangers that you meet on the internet? - written 5 months, 2 weeks ago
The short answer - 146 lbs. Once you get there, then you can re-evaluate how you feel at that weight.
The long answer -
Don’t think about weight, think about what feels good for your body….you may start working out, and not drop any weight, but your muscles may start to look long and lean, and your clothes may fit better, and that is all that you need.
You may find that the things that you are eating don’t make your body feel good, are you tired all day, do you just want to sit on the couch, if so, then try making a few more healthy choices.
If you eat healthy meals and work out (serious work out, more then an hour - 5 days a week, walking, biking, swimming, lift weights, push ups, sit ups)…then you can drop up to 2 lbs a week.
Sorry, but it doesn’t happen fast. Except at 13, it will be easier then trying to do it at 31.
There will be a time when you stop droping weight, don’t worry, just change your routine a bit, and it will start dropping again.
One key is eating right, make sure you have a good breakfast everyday, keep your sugars and fats to a minimum, but you still need some. Eat a couple snacks everyday (fruit, toast w/peanut butter, veggies and dip, pretzels), make sure your meals are balanced, and full of colour and flavour. For example, you would eat way more mashed potatoes then chips ‘n salsa - cause the first are pretty boring and don’t fufill you the way the second do. If it’s pizza night, go ahead and have some, but have some veggies or salad also.
But allow yourself to have a few treats, otherwise summer will be no fun! :-) - written 5 months, 2 weeks ago
