2011-07-06 16:39:35 on What’s the weirdest thing that’s happened to you on the internet?
Nothing really weird has happened to me on the internet, real life has been crasy enough for me what with the boat chase and the helicopter and the policemen pointing SMG’s at my face XD
Matty, I love that you’re learning to cook! If I lived in Ireland I might come over and let you pamper my taste buds. ;-D
I’d love to cook for you! It would give me an excuse for the candles and wine and maybe pamper more than your taste buds ;D

I’m teaching myself how to cook nice meals :P I’ll be honest and just say i hope cooking a nice homemade meal will impress girls. You know a nice dinner, maybe some candles an wine ;D
So far i make a good lasagne, which i am amazed by since it was the first i ever made and did the stereotypical guy thing of throwing away the cookbook to the shouts of “F*** the instructions!” I ended up judging by taste and smell
Id be impressed with a guy that could AND WOULD cook a nice meal, so often guys claim they can cook, but you never witness it, or, they present you with a ready meal.
Lol i finished my first ever batch of Lasagne a few hours ago. My mum always made fun of me saying how i couldn’t cook so i presented her with my dish, her only complaint was there was a bit too much garlic for her tastes but meh i liked it and i loved cooking it. I even used the time it was in the oven to clean up the kitchen :D
I love cooking as well, i’m always trying out new dishes, i’m pretty good at it as well, just did chineese style chicken tonight, made the marinade for it yesterday so it could sit in the fridge in it over night, it was really good.
Did teriyaki salmon last night, that was also good.
I love lasange, i make that every few weeks.
My mum was very upset when i gave her a batch of soup i’d made & when my dad ate it, not knowing i’d made it, he said to her, ‘this is the best soup you’ve made yet, you should do it this way more often’
I think my mum is upset i can cook better than her too. It’s the first night the smoke alarm hasn’t been set off or there has been a small fire
My mums actually a fantastic cook, she taught me how to do it, i think thats why she was soo upset about my dad saying that.
I spent a lot of time grounded when i was a kid, but when you got grounded in my house, you had to do something usefull like help the parents, my dad was way too hard to please, so i’d help mum cook & bake, i spent soo much time grounded i got really good at cooking ;)
My mum was the opposite, she had the idea of since i was a boy i was never allowed near the kitchen or any sort of domestic appliance. Instead i was pushed outside to play while she looked after everything. I’ll admit that it has been a hinderance now since i was never taught to do anything useful around the house but i’m trying to learn now because i don’t want to end up going to get my mum to iron my shirt everytime i need one
2011-07-06 12:26:56 on i have a riddle
Her husband is a timelord and just regenerated after each action XD

2011-07-03 10:27:35 on Are there any other Sci-Fi/Fantasy dorks out there?
I’ve been feeling like this for the last month. I’m getting withdrawl from lack of Doctor Who D:
2011-06-19 11:47:52 on I really hate fathers day!
I really hate Fathers Day as much as i hate my father, he’s a worthless excuse for a human being. When i was 13 he attempted to murder my mother infront of me. For some reason he still thinks i actually like him dispite the fact that even though my mum rightfully walked out he seemed to abandon me as he has never given us child support (which isn’t suprising since in a previous relationship he did the EXACT SAME THING with his girlfriend and their daughter) I wont say he’s an evil man but i will never forgive him for what he did so i try to keep away from him. However this day is one of three a year where i am physically forced to spend time in the same square mile as him and be civil.
This year i thought it would be nice to buy him a film to watch, one i had seen and thought he would like it. The second he saw it he threw it into a corner and proceeded to not care i was there and took a nap and i ended up getting stuck in his flea infested apartment which smells predomently of cat urine with no escape since i spent all my money getting a bus since burning my car to get rid of the smell and fleas is a very bad investment choice. Luckily enough he work up a couple of hours later so i could get out of there. I really wish my mum didn’t make me go so i dont hate him though being 20 i already have my own thoughts of him as usual he’s just an annoyance and a disappointment, i wish i had a real father figure in my life growing up instead of him. Though i will say the only good thing he taught me was not to be such a cold hearted monster.
Sorry for the rant just talking about him really forces me to vent
^^;
