I’m so sorry to hear that Chloe, I feel for you and i could never even imagine what it must have been like for you to not only witness all that but have it happen to you too, I’m really sorry!

Thanks you so much Spacejunk, your advice is excellent. I don’t generally like going to see the doctor but i think i might, if anything it would be nice to have someone to talk to about these things. The stuff with my dad, well he never actually did anything on me he used to beat my mum a lot when i was growing up but the night he tried to murder her still haunts me to this day :(

I also never considered volunteer work before. Though i do have an interview in the morning for the Steps to Work scheme, i may as well take any and all opportunities i can get :)

As i said in Pixiestick’s post about this why have the metropoletan police not got the PSNI to assist in these riots?

They are used to dealing with situations like this in Belfast every year and for once we are pretty calm so you can happily borrow our riot squads

The riots are totally out of hand. Heck the ones we have here in july are so mild compared to this. Especially with the looting, yes we do have petrol bombs, explosives and burnt out cars but there is little to no looting. Actaully that is the advantage of having community paramilitaries. Anyone going to these levels an anarchy would have their kneecaps shot off by the IRA or the UDA (depending on your background)
