Mini-Profile
Lets see… I’m a bit of a goof… aaaand… my friends say I’m the nicest person in the world :) I don’t know about that, but I just LOOOVE… well, everything, really!!!!! So how could I be mean?! It can’t be a bad world that has rainbows and fireflies :D
But don’t worry; I’m not naïve… I know bad things do happen, and there are some insane people out there. Luckily, I’ve never had to deal with any of that. I’m the luckiest person I know!! I’ve found hundreds of four-leaf clovers, dozens of five-leafed ones, and a couple six-leaf ones… I even found a seven-leaf one once! My track coach asked me once if I had been near any radiation lately, because I found about twenty during one practice once. But that’s besides the point.
The point is… I’ve had such a wonderful life, and I want to give back to life on this planet in any way I can. That’s why I’m majoring in biological engineering and minoring in biomedical engineering. It’s such a fascinating and versatile field, and I know it’ll let me really make a positive difference in the world. I suppose that my interests/outlook on life probably make me seem like a silly ditz, but, really, I’m just not afraid to make a fool of myself. I’m really quite smart!!! There’s a reason I’m at Cornell :)
I’m pretty broke, and it’s kinda hard to find a job right now, so I’ve got all sorts of random jobs… I’m working as a camp counselor at a children’s day camp, a cashier at a nature center’s gift shop, an assistant track coach for elementary school kids, and a clarinetist in a small parade band. When I go back to school, I’ll be working in the Space Sciences library, and I want to get a job in a research lab. I’ve also just landed a job as a fashion model in an international sports magazine, so you’ll probably see my picture soon enough! Weird, but true.
I like to come up with theories. I think far too much, and, if something confuses me, I think about it until I figure it out. I’m sure most of my theories don’t make any sense whatsoever, but I still love them.
Hmm… I’ve got a wicked sweet tooth… I love sugar :D and sparkly and shiny things… and cute things (but I think pretty much everything is COMPLETELY adorable…), and I love the ocean, and dreaming, and thunderstorms, and getting dirty, and giving presents, and smiling, and catching snowflakes, and flying kites, and pretty ribbons, and (good) surprises, and drawing and painting, and waking up in my boyfriend’s arms, and saving spiders, and looking at the stars, and classical music, and books that are confusing and hard to read… Hehehe I’ll stop now :D But that’s pretty much me in a nutshell!
