  I was a young mother and I am against abortion outside of when it has to be done or the mother will die. Why couldn’t she give the baby up for adoption. She can have it open or closed.No one seemed to think of that. There are some couples out there that can’t not have children. Then use that time to explain to her that she needs not to have sex unless she is ready for every thing that comes with it. I know all of young mothers that are great at what they do. Then others that are more worried about being on the sceen. It is her choice in the end.

  I did not read all of the replies but enough to know most of them are right.
  1. What ever you do do not sign over your rights to her. She is half your. No women has the right to take that from you.
  2. Do not give her cash. She will use that to get you later.
  3. go to court. I know you don’t want to. You said that the court will only give you every other weekend. That’s not always correct. Sometime they will let you have the child one day during the week as well. Plus one month out of the summer. Normal July 15 till August 15.
  
  You are doing right by her now. She needs to come first and it shounds like your ex is using her to get what she wants. She may have gotten pregnant on purpose too. Please let us know what you chose to do. Your baby will need you with a mother like that. Do not give up

  I hope things work out for you. But to be honest this will probably hunt you for all your life. I am total against apportion. There are many things you can do. Have the baby and give it up for adoption. Mean watch the movie Juno. It made me cry. For someone that age do that. There is one good thing you always said “we” it’s not her baby its both of yours. Most men can’t see that till the baby is here. I really hope you all made the right choice.

  You have read mine so you know what I’m going throw but maybe she wasn’t the one for you. Don’t let the fact that you are hurt cloud your eyes. Because there could be someone right in front of that is “the one” I do believe in soul mates. And being together till your old. Sometimes things happen just so we can see better. You know know that you can love and that you want to. You never said how long you were together. It is good to be honest. (I may be a little to honest sometime but at lease when I say something people believe me)But sometimes people can’t handle the thought of being married and settled down. You should wait til you know you have the right girl and she to feels the same way. Trust me women show those things. Some are a little harder to read then others. But keep you head up. You will never meet the right person if you are looking at the ground. (unless you are in a movie and run into and when you eyes meet you know that, they are the one for you)Good luck
