  Either she’s nervous about the fact that you’ve said “I Love You” or she doesn’t feel the same way. Either way, give her a little space and a little time. Don’t be pushy or come on too strong. Instead, let her take things at her own speed whether she shares your feelings or doesn’t and just wants to be friends.

  Five months is kind of early to exchanging anniversary gifts, but you could do something for him such as cook a romantic dinner. If you want to actually exchange something, perhaps a romantic card?
