If I have to move there it will get worse. Me and my older brother get along fine if we live apart. Part of feeling bad is because I don’t have rent all the time and I’m scared me and my BF will have to move. My parent moved me to TN when I was like 3 cause my dad had work here. I’ve pretty much been here ever since. My mom isn’t in FL tho she’s in GA about 1.5 hours from here so it’s not like I can’t go visit. The last thing I want to do at 28 years old is move home. But if I have to it will offer me rest I guess. I have applied to multiple jobs off careerbuilder.com, monster.com and indeed.com. The store closing has been traumatic lol. Me and my BF worked there so income ceased all but unemployment for me. He didn’t qualify. I’ve spent my whole life thinking about a job that I could do and really enjoy it. I haven’t figured it out yet…I guess at this rate I never will.

Yes it helps a lot. Thanks for your honesty. In my opinion, you should move closer to your mom. As a place you like TN but you don’t feel safe there so why live there. If you don’t have safety and privacy then why continue on over there? Those two things are so important. You need to feel safe and in control of your life and you won’t feel depressed or entertain suicidal thoughts. Also you joking with your mom is a good sign. Were you happier when you were in FL? Did you feel scared to sleep there is this new to TN? What brought you to TN? Have you tried searching for a job at monster.com? They have a lot of listings. More than other websites, hence the name. Also, you need to be out and about (but of course it has to feel safe and friendly to do that) and you will feel better that way. Basically depression is a weakening of the immune system due to immense stress, less support than stress, disturbed sleep, and having nothing to do (the more we move around the happier we feel once we stop). Its all about doing something that will be so enjoyable that you remember having done it much much later. A person forgets the details of mundane activities but not special ones. Those are brighter and clearer in one’s memory. If you can find a job that you really enjoy and can do it close to your mom, you will be in a good position.

Well, first of all I need to know where is your family, do they know what you are going through, do you work or study, since when has been this happening, what triggers it more, do you not sleep because you’re not sleepy or because you would rather do something else. Those kinds of things. Its impossible to help someone without getting specific.

Find something to do where you can excel easily and will be recognized for your achievements. Also, you need to maintain good habits and the depression will pass away. yeah there were several small chips, the cpu, and the gpu which were both kinda close together. I think the gpu itself was the one that was overheating but i replaced the thermal paste on both anyway while i had it hopened. and since i wasn’t for sure i figured better safe than sorry. i don’t wanna go crawling back inside that thing if i don’t have to lol

IC = integrated circuit, a chip.
most motherboards have 3 chips,
the CPU, the northbridge and the southbridge
graphics are usually handled by an off board gpu card
the northbridge controls high speed buses like the memory.
the south bridge handles lower speed such as pci ports, usb/serial, ATA devices ect.
generally game consoles have a cpu and a dedicated gpu on board with no northbridge

Well overall issues not just rrod I think. And the poll could be bogus too I don’t know. I believe it’s possible though. A friend of mine went through 3 boxes so far because of failures. And online there’s stories of other people going through several machines…it’s kinda sad.

i find it amazing that game consoles can have both a CPU and a dedicated graphics chip in no more that 2 IC’s and not even need a northbridge chipset. think if we had that with pcs?

powerPC chips are something i’ve never been edumacated in, was the processor in a socket or just soldered to the MB?

idk, i didn’t even know the fans could speed up, haha
maybe you reset a thermal censor when you fixed the heatsink?

supposedly they fixed that problem with the newer generation 360’s but the RROD isn’t completely uncommon anymore

hey dude, about your xbox.
the reason the heatsink fails and even sometimes the RROD is because the CPU runs hotter than MS expected and the tiny little heatsink fan isn’t enough for it.
