  Can I just tell you and your sisters as a gay person a meaningful THANK YOU. I’m sorry your parents are upset you didn’t sign it. Hopefully soon everyone will realize it’s not going to hurt them and the idea of being together in a loving relationship with the benefits of marriage is not an attack on their lifestyles.

  Small problem. Allah is the same god that is the father of jesus in christianity. Allah is as dead as Jehovah or vice verse. Mohammed and Jesus were the profit/son in the story between the two. Islam and Christianity is the two most popular religions in the world. Isn’t it ironic they’re also the two biggest war mongers in the world at this point in time?

  You have it backwards, Dani. Those that don’t have God in their heart are dead inside themselves. I am alive and my soul will continue to live when God determines I am no longer needed here. Of that I have no doubt. He is alive and living inside me.

  actually…if you reduce the whole thing to what it’s supposed to do: uplift, nurture the ’soul’, teach you to be compassionate toward others, understand how to make and live with wholesome decisions… if this is the point and if this can be a definition of god, then i can totally see how missing the component of being near god can make a person dead inside.
