• Windows XP cannot reboot in safemode and system restore cannot be used.
  

  In case of virus, go to eset.com and download the trial for nod32. Make sure to select 32 or 64-bit according to your operating system.
  
  Have you tried starting with “last known working configuration”? there was this option in the XP boot menu was it not?
  
  You mentioned HP software, look for a HP program which can reset to factory defaults but be sure to back up ALL the data you wish to keep.
  As an alternative you can download and boot from a Linux disc to access your data if you can’t access them in Windows, I recommend Ubuntu or Fedora. Google Ubuntu and/or Fedora forums for assistance with using them.

  Which program? Is this Outlook? Which version? 2003? 2009? Express?
  Also is this a common webmail domain like Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo or is it a personal domain?

  I know I’m lucky to have had her. the prettiest, nicest, etc girl in the world, did she really fall for me twice as well? Apparently she did and I’m the luckiest guy in the world. People seem to look their whole lives for something like this and it just hit me. I’m luckier than I deserve, really. But.. you know, this still stinks. She is so special I don’t think I am lucky enough to meet anybody as special ever again.
  
  So continuing what I’ve been trying to do is what I need to do basically? Trying to think of other things, making a cross with my fingers if a girl approaches as if she where a vampire, etc? :p
  Nothing quicker like running head-first in a wall?

• How do I hook up speakers to an e-machines computer?
  

  You should see a green “slot” in both front and back where you can install the mini-jack. If your speakers doesn’t have one you need to hook them up to an amplifier but this is only for regular stereo/surround speakers and not PC speakers. You are asking about PC speakers, correct?

  Please be more specific, what computer is it?
  
  Well I’ll try my best;
  If it is Nvidia based graphics (video) card on an XP based machine:
  You probably have an icon in your system tray, it’s the one down on the taskbar to the left. Look for an icon with some green on it and try right-clicking. If you see some monitor functions in the shell menu (that pop-up thingy when you right-click something) and see a menu called “rotate monitor” go into that and rotate it back.
  
  If it is Nvidia based on a Vista based machine:
  Try right-clicking on the desktop and look for Nvidia Control panel. If asked you may have to select “Advanced Mode” for it to show any monitor rotation options, not to worry though, “advanced mode” is not so advanced..
  
  If it is ATI (AMD) based:
  …funnily enough I am sitting at a laptop with ATI but I can’t find the darn control panel.. :p
  Well it should be similar as to Nvidia; right-click, look for Catalyst Control Panel or something, click it and you should find it in there. That is if you have it installed, which I doubt this computer have. good luck, but please, be more specific.
