  Broach the subject carefully.
  
  If you’re parents are understanding they’ll definitely listen but sometimes parents can rush in a bit quick and make you jumble your words.
  
  Make sure you have your argument carefully thought out, think of all the advantages.
  
  Then think of all the disadvantages and find solutions to them so if your parents mention them you have an answer.
