• Hello, the reason for my visit is simple.
  

  My EX husband did similar things. He was a truck driver and would come home drunk (and broke)and would get angry with me for not being understanding. I thought I could not make it on my own and I did love him, so I stayed…. UNTIL one day he came home drunk and thought he was going to put our children in his car and leave with them because I did not save dinner for him. That was the last straw… I took the kids forcibly from his car (the police did not see fit to show up very fast) and we left for my Mom’s house. I filed for divorce soon after. That was over 10 years ago and though we have seen some hard times they are no where near as hard as they were when we were together. As for seeing him with other women, it did sort of bother me until I remembered what he was like when he was drunk, then I felt sorry for what the other women were going to go through with him.
  
  Another point to consider; as long as you keep accepting his apologies and forgiving him, he will continue not to see his drinking as a problem.
  
  Whether you leave him now or not, I urge you to look for a support group for families of alcoholics. I think Al-Anon would help you understand and see the predictability of what will be the next progression of his disease. www.alanon.org
  
  Alternatives for Battered Women (not just for physical abuse) may also help you to understand your own feelings about your situation and may help you to decide what you really wantfor yourself and your children.
  
  And to all others who posted a reply: please do not judge carrascodalil so harshly. Its all good to say “Get out” but it is not that easy for most women. Maybe we all have been there and know that is what she should do and we know it will be better because it was for us (and if you have “been there” was it so easy for you when you were going through it?)but this person does NOT know or she would not have needed to post here. We do not know if she has a job or any means of paying her way, we do not know if she has child care for her children available, we do not know any more than she has posted. Do we know if he may become physically abusive? Do we know what harm he may have threatened to her or the children if she leaves or even if he has threatened her at all?

  As a mom of 5, I think the problem really is about the boy getting what he wants, when he wants it. He may have learned that if he makes himself sound like a broken record, he will get what he wants faster. Annoying? Yes. Abnormal? No. It is all most the same as whining.

  I have had those feelings as well. I have suffered from depression for most of my life but never really talked to anyone about it until I lost my Mom. Thats when I really felt that the desire to die was overcoming the fear. You need to talk to your doctor NOW and discuss your treament options, whether it be medication or counseling or both. I still deal with occasional feelings of hopelessness and sadness, but the medication along with talking to some one does really help.
  
  My brother killed himself about 5 years ago and though his pain may be over, the pain those he left behind feel is worse than anything you can imagine!!! We feel angry that he did not trust us to help him through his hard times, we feel guilty because we did not see how much pain he really was feeling, we feel an emptiness from his absence from our lives that only he could fill. Please do not leave that baggage for those who love you.

  I have never bee in that position before but I did work at a substance abuse treatment facility. The one I worked for was able to help point people who were waiting for treatment to emergency housing and also help with public assistance applications.
  
  The Salvation Army has emergency housing and may also be able to help with a job.
  
  In the mean time, you should try to hook up with Narcotics Anonymous for some support from others who have through similar problems.

• I need help with my cat she is 2years old barely eats
  

  I was wondering what they vet said the condition was and what “jab” the vet gave your cat?
  
  Your bio says you have 2 cats, how is the other cat doing? If the other cat is well, I would next ask how is the relationship between the 2 of them? Does it seem the other cat is bossy with the troubled one (like push her away from the food and water?) If you notice this may be a problem, feed them as far aprt (in different rooms) as possible and see if this helps (it will take awhile to notice weight gain). Have you tried mixing canned food with hard food?
  
  As for constant paw licking, have you tried changing types or brands of litter? Have you thought of the possibility that it could be from what you use to clean anything the cats paws could come into contact with (floor cleaners, upholstery cleaners, etc)? Even if the other cat is fine, you can not exclude this as a possiblity.
  
  I hope this helps and I do hope you will let me know how things are going, even if my ideas do not help.
