  Don’t worry about it mate, She know’s you’re probably nervous. She’s leaning on you, so she is obviously attracted to you. As for summer rain’s suggestions, distracting yourself with conversation is a good idea, I don’t know about singing a song, but getting your mind off of worrying is a solid start. Questions, compliments (as long as they’re genuine) are good. Get her to laugh, as soon as she laughs your tension will disappear.

  I disagree with the above answers, I have had a female friend for most of my life, whom I developed feelings for. When I was in a similar situation, she chose the second option (to give it a chance) and it didn’t work out. Fortunately our strong friendship got us through, but we are not quite as close as we once were. There are some awkward situations, but all in all, we’re still good. I am glad it worked out this way, I believe that if she rejected me outright, I would have taken it personally and distanced myself from her. Hope this helps!
