Mini-Profile

Hi:
I am a high school teacher with eleven years of experience. I graduated from Rhodes College with Bachelor’s Degree - www.rhodes.edu ; and Master’s Degree from the University of Memphis - www.memphis.edu
I am single and live in the Columbus, GA, area, but I do get to travel a good bit during holidays and in the summers.
I’d love to post on help.com and respond to anything you may post with which I can help. Academic (school) “stuff” is my specialty as well as counsel on light to moderate worries or matters. Life gives one experience; I can offer that to anyone who asks me.
All you high school students NEED to get your HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA and not just a GED. Subsequently, you need AT LEAST a Bachelor’s Degree (and if that’s it) in something marketable like Business Administration/Economics, Computer Science, IT, Nursing (BSN), Journalism (or English with emphasis on writing as opposed to literature) and several others. Other majors like History, Philosophy, Chemistry, and such are great; to “get anywhere” with these liberal arts and science majors, for the most part, you need to get at least a Master’s Degree in that field, or to teach it at the elementary or secondary level, a Master of Arts in Teaching or Master of Education. More money for sure the more education you have - for the most part anyway.
Take care,
Frank
