I’m a 30 year old guy and a virgin … and it sux. posted (2 years, 9 months) ago
There’s probably nothing you can say that I don’t already know, and I’m not sure …
Here’s an update. A couple years later, a new place, a new life, still a virgin. Makes me wonder if I’ll ever get laid. Seriously considering a hooker now but I really don’t want that to be my first experience. I’ve come to realize that there is a possiblity that I may go through life without and romance whatsoever. It really sux but I have only myself to blame. Even if that happened, I consider myself fortunate as compared to those who have real problems, like leprosy or being homeless.

I think that waiting until after marriage is the worst thing one can do. Considering the failure rate of marriage alone, add sexual fustration into the mix and you’re practically guaranteed a disaster. Plus, the chick’s I’m into don’t go to church.

I don’t think he needs advise. I think he needs reassurance. Today’s society makes anything out of the majority seem faux pas, but in reality it doesn’t make it right or wrong. I strongly beleive that everyone and anyone should be absolutely free to express themselves in any way they please, so long as it does not cause harm to others.
Because of societal pressure, it makes most people extremely uncomfortable to express more of their “unusual” desires. This is something one has to overcome in order to truly accept themselves and come to terms with their tendencies. Unfortunately, it will be a very long time before society accepts the unusual into the norm.
Ricky, rest assured that there is nothing wrong with you. As you can see from this website, you are not alone, and there plenty of others out there with similar dilemmas.
