Well. You made the first mistake by texting him and telling him you still love him.
He’s your ex, he’s with someone else. It’s time for YOU to drop him out of your life and walk away. Be the bigger person here and move on.
You may still love him, but he clearly does not love you if he IS with someone else. He stated he “loves” you too, but he doesn’t show it. You two broke it off for a reason, it didn’t work out for either or both of you so what do you think getting back will achieve? It’ll fall into the same pattern and it’ll be a vicious cycle.
You’re only asking for more sorrow and agony when you try and get him back. It’s time to focus on something else and make YOURSELF happy without the thought of your ex. This is your life, and your own emotions that you control and anything he does or is doing should not affect you. If it kills you to think about them together, then think about something else. Not of reuniting with your ex because chances are, it will not happen. I’m not trying to rain on your parade, or trying to bring in negativity, I’m being realistic.
Think about it, do you still love him if he’s with someone else and if he lied to you saying that he still loves you but is still with another person? DO you want to BE with someone like that? I think you’ve set your mind into a loop, and your thoughts are only focused on the good and not on the bad. You focus so much on the greatness of the past and how amazing the two of you WERE, that you are completely blind sided about the present.
I was in the same position as you are and trust me, it was hell but you need to have a different mind set. It’s time to move on.

Friends with exes can only work if both of your feelings have settled. One person can’t demand or want the other more than the other wants him/her.
You can’t have any hidden feelings towards your exes if you want to start a friendship. Personally, if you’re the one who was heartbroken, I’d advise you not to befriend your ex. Who knows, all those feelings that were swept away under the rug may re-surface or perhaps bad memories may pop up.
In all honesty, I find that befriending an ex is not the greatest idea in the world. You both took a long journey together and you two ended up separating paths for a reason.

List all the possible reasons why someone would want to attempt suicide.
List all the ways there are to receive help.
List why suicide is a serious thing
List how society and religion views suicide. (Ie, Christianity finds suicide a sin, and it’s a form of greed)
List the impact it has on family members, etc.

You move on, and by that I mean stop hating.
No point in hating someone for a year when you no longer see them, or are any way connected to them.
That hate is just being self generated through your mind and you’re just continuing to feed it with your thoughts so stop thinking about him for just once. It’s a vicious cycle, and I don’t think you see that. You’re blinded by everything that’s negative that you don’t see anything past that.
Here’s what you do:
Forgive him, for everything he’s done. REGARDLESS of the hurt you felt or are feeling.
Start praying, to God or to whomever and wish that he is in good health and that he is happy.
Stop and think once in while that you’re only hurting yourself.
Start focusing on yourself and find new hobbies, occupy yourself.
