You shoudn’t be so concerned about the AIDS crisis. You should be more concerned about the world’s population problem. AIDS is probaby normal mechanism in nature to control an out of control pest. Think about it.

What other disease kills only the most promiscuous?

yeah, i like bettas because they can live in unheated water and with or without a filter = less expensive : )

interesting you thought of writing a book based on the site.

i have an idea for a book that i’we wanted to write for a long time, but have thought that i would need to get a lot more wise before i could do it justice. so i thought i might get help.com users to help me write it.

i couldn’t just quote material already here, though, they would have to email me their pieces. otherwise it would fall under cnet’s intellectual property rights.

next time you’re in a bookstore give it a look. it’s very weighty in scientific jargon and i barely got through it, but just read the first chapter. the premise is that genetics, nanotechnology and strong a.i. will revolutionize society within 50 years.

i noticed you used the term “singularity” in describing the universe before the big bang. have you read the book “the singularity is near” by ray kurzweil? it’s dense scientific stuff, but an incredibly fascinating theory.

If you point me to the post in question, I can explain my motiation.

Simply opening the mind to new ideas, never did I say ’stop taking them.’ If I ever get close to saying something like that I always say ‘personally’ or something along that line to define what I’m talking about.

But it does appear that you do have a better comprehention of the issue than me, for the most part ‘manic’ clicked as something that would mean excessive/extreme/high/overwhelming/etc.

But the general message that I and most everyone else is saying in his post is that the person has to look elsewhere than a little childproof white bottle of magic to solve the issue that person has.
