Use the webmail. the address would be http://webmail.whatever the end of your email addy is. For example: (email removed) would go to webmail.ca.rr.com.

ok you need to login to webmail and delete any messages that are over 1mb or turn off your security suite like Norton or McAfee

using outlook express or another email client?

oh no problem. it’s hard. i am trying to quit now and these are a couple things that work for me.

Talk to your doctor about ways to quit, it may sound corny but they have a lot of good advice on that. I got some good advice from my doctor. Like make a list of reasons you want to quit and look at it whenever you want to smoke. Cons: smoke smell, health reasons (heart, lungs), want to set a good example for kids/siblings, save $, etc. And save that $ too, that $5 a day on a pack of smokes, for something you want and buy it when you have saved enough.

You could delete all the internet explorer icons. Just keep one where you know how to find it. You could also install a firewall and block internet access to Internet explorer when you are not at the pc. You can also not save the password in a dial up/dsl connection. For a cable connection, put the modem in standby or just take one of the cables away, like the power cord.

Yep, call tech support. Also if you use a router, try without that. Then you will know which tech support to call, the router manufacturer or Roadrunner.

Download to your desktop so you don’t lose it. Hopefully you have Win XP. Just right click on the downloaded file and send to cd drive. Follow the prompts from there.

Some little tips:
1. open a paypal account
2. if the address starts with https:// instead of http:// it is a secure sight, though that is not 100% foolproof
3. Make sure website has a valid certificate. If you see a ‘verisign secured logo’ it should be safe, note the word should.
4. Don’t ever buy from a site that wants a credit card pin number.
5. Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.0 have a phishing filter that helps alert you to fake sites.
6. Unless you requested email from a retail store, such as Old Navy, do not follow links in email to purchase things. Open a new window/tab and physicall type the address.
7. Look at the address and make sure it still has the name of the store in it before entering any credit card info. That helps make sure you were not redirected.

Do you mean a windows login, only the guest account is able to access internet? Check firewall to make sure your browser (Internet Explorer) is not blocked. Also, Internet explorer tools menu –> internet options –> advanced tab –> reset button in IE7 or restore defaults in IE6. Also on the advanced tab –> LAN settings button –> make sure ‘use a proxy server’ is not checked. Or you can always download and install Firefox.
