2011-07-08 00:51:31 on In your opinion, what is a human’s base personality
There is absolutely no way someone else cannot teach it because we human beings are so smart we learn from seen behaviors anyway, even if its ants we observe for our survival. You would have to be in complete isolation and complete non-experimentation that means, no water, no food, no animals, no plants, no grass (since grass tends to grow), no trees, no sunlight as we are daylight people and we tend to experiment anyway. Hard for a human being not to learn something…
2011-07-08 00:45:12 on In your opinion, what is a human’s base personality
The premise is not viable. A human child requires the protection of another to survive for any time, and therefore will acquire some personality traits from another. Even assuming ‘tabula rasa’, an individual will learn action / reaction/ consequence (simplest form of ‘punishment’) simply from trying to eat, or not eating and therefore starving, or the choice to breathe or suffocate, etc. Even ignoring that, base personality will vary, as each individual has unique traits from gestation on. Some would tend toward sadistic, some towards empathetic, and some towards isolation, and I imagine even some would be masochistic. Some might tend towards peaceful co-operation, but it would not be possible because they would necessarily have to be isolated in this hypothetical experiment.
There are also humans out there that survive since human kids in the jungle, somehow they pick up on the animal language, develop an animalistic personality (copy behavior typically seen in other animals), and since they learn to communicate with these animals they also have some good animals out there who protect them from harm. It does happen, a human being can survive with the protection of another whether it be a monkey,a human, or an elephant, etc.
Our base personality lies in our copying of other’s behaviors usually done as a means to survive, sense of belonging, etc, mainly as a means to communicate and survive though.
2011-07-08 00:40:06 on why did god brought us to this world to suffer
the purpose of life is to gradually perfect ourselves from where we are now
to the level of a master like Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, Krishna, Hercules, etc.
we do this by reincarnating over and over again in groups.
We go through five steps:
1/ mastery over the physical plane.
2/mastery over the astral plane( emotional plane)……..this is the hardest one for most people.
3/mastery over the mental plane.
Jesus demonstrated those 5 steps 2000 years ago.
when you reach the fifth step you are permanently free.(saved)
And obviously we will be permanently free of pain.
Masters are in permanent bliss.
The mental plane is what causes the emotional plane run through the judgment of an experience so the mental plane is actually quite the strongest as the emotional plane just follows the minds thoughts on a situation.

2011-07-07 19:04:08 on why did god brought us to this world to suffer

We suffer because of our individual and collective choices–not because of God.
Well, there is the bigger picture. The Bible tells us that it is God’s will that we suffer:
1 Peter 4:19 -
Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.
Also, the animals all suffer because God has cursed them when man sinned:
Gen 3:14 -
So the LORD God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this,
You are cursed MORE than all cattle,
And MORE than every beast of the field;
Rom 8:20 -
For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but by reason of him who subjected it, in hope, that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
God does have His hand in our suffering. It is ordained for us to suffer - most notably in connection with our relationship with Him, but also for other reasons as well. As always, God runs the show. Just as He said:
Matt 10:29 -
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.
Now, the question is, why? Why has God intended us to suffer? Suffering for our wrong doing is understandable, but what about Job for example? Why did he need to suffer. I don’t have time now to answer that, maybe I will later. But just one thought on this: We would all be mush meat if we never had to suffer.
Good answers for the Christians.
Nothing you can tell him other than don’t be stupid and look at things like that. An old friend of mine was dating a guy once that looked at that stuff. They arrested him and threw him in jail for 7 years. Not to mention took all the computers in the house as evidence. So if someone shows up at your house… Well I wouldn’t stand in their way, just tell em the truth.
YOu know though and it is kind of messed up also because the government does not do the necessary action to take out the kiddy porn from those websites, so they are throwing him in jail for something they should have taken out themselves.. They put up some sites to bust people which makes no sense because if they cared about the population, they would delete any child porn on the internet available to the USA, not focus on arresting people and giving them prison sentences.
The Second Noble Truth states that the origin of suffering is attachment.
Here are teachings of how to deal with that: http://www.thebigview.com/buddhism/fo…
The 4 noble truths do not explain the story of creation, however they explain suffering and how to get out of suffering through the 8 fold path and etc.
