Leave ridiculous parts and remember only ones you need. That’s just an advice. Well, I’ve red bible years ago and simply don’t remember such things.

I found that the “morality” in the bible was not very moral at all. It was disturbing really. The bible has many atrocious example of “moral” values and also ridiculous ones. For example,
*the bible states that there are 6 example of when RAPING a women is ok under god
*If a follower sees a nonbeleiver, he is supposed to KILL them
* It is a sin to wear a blend of two fabrics.

These are just a few examples.

Well for me it is a long and complicated story..I basically stopped believing in god a year ago. I grew up as a Christian and realized that religion and the notion of the existence of god were ridiculous after a lot of research and emotional struggle. For me, it was extremely enlightening and the best thing to ever happen to me. Thanks for sharing.
