  Some days, I find myself asking the same, some days, I remember full and clear. When he’s drunk. Which hasn’t been a lot lately, but occasional, he let’s everything. He’s ever hated about himself out and he takes it out on others to make himself feel less sad. But u don’t see him when its the real him. He sweet, considerate, thoughtful, caring, loving, romantic, funny, he’s everything I ever wanted, but when the addiciton he’s having trouble keeping down for good comes out, it brings out the worst in him. I’ve grown up around these situations, been around alcoholics all my life, but I can see the real him, despite his demon. Yes I get frustrated, and when I do I focus on all the bad things that ever pissed me off, same as anyone would, but something about him keeps me loving him. Maybe I’m a fool, maybe I don’t wanna lose the perfect happy just because he cant control all of his urges. He can’t help it, and I know that, idk. I really just wanted to vent, not get a therapy session, but he’s not 100% evil, he’s just a good guy with a demon he can’t fight on his own.
