2006-03-02 17:58:12 on What do you think of Help.com?
I think about this service, but not in a positive way.
I signed up for yet another CNET course, and come to find out I also “gave my permission” to have this lousy blog. This is unacceptable, and it does not end there!
I don’t want to have this blog, I cannot figure out how to cancel it [gone around the circle several times over two days], I did not ask for it, I resent being put out here, this blog system does not work properly in Opera as far as I can figure out requires IE which I don’t like to use.
These actions have lost what used to be a loyal reader and user, for many [unspecified here] years, of the CNET newsletters and coursework.
So here I am submitting a post, for all to read, trying to get the attention of “erik_k” who is “Help.com’s Most Helpful User” and models his behaviour after W. Clement Stone who just “wants to change the world.” Erik works for “CNET Networks, an Internet media company and the publisher of this site. Actually, I’m one of the folks behind Help.com, so please tell me what you”
Erik, ERIK, ERIK _what I want is this name blog and any other info linked to my email deleted from Help.com and CNET Networks_
You and CNET Networks might want to change the world, whatever that means, but I just want to get off your portion of it, if that can be done ;-)
Can you do this Erik?
Will you do this Erik?
My contact options are checked.
