Like Fried said, just because you see similarities between your ex boyfriend and this new guy, it doesn’t mean that it will turn out the same.
They are two completley different people.

There’s a difference between guarding your heart and protecting yourself so much that you never let anyone else in again.

If this feels right, then for goodness sake go for it! :)!
You’ve dealt with hurt before. And, in time, your wounds heal, and you learn and you grow from them.
Try not to think about how things could end before they’ve even begun.
Otherwise, you’ll never know what things could be like.

Everything is potentially a risk, but it’s the things in life that do go right that make it worth while.

Look into your heart, you know if you’re ready to commit to another relationship yet.
Keep an open mind, and you might find something really special here :)
And if you find yourseld not ready yet, don’t worry about it! These things take time, and you’ll be ready when you’re ready.

Seriousley, talk to her about this.
Make sure that you have time to talk and are not going to get disturbed or have to run off to a lesson or something, and just really tell her how you feel.
Tell her that what she does really hurts you and offends you, but that when that’s not happening, you have a great time! Just tell her what you have told us, and that you want to keep on being her friend, because at the end of the day, you love her.

She might be offended and get angry depending on her mood - I would imagine some people would be defensive, but then apologize. But if you feel she’s taken it on board and seems sorry for what she’s done, and you’re happy with how things are between you, then I don’t see any reason why you can’t still be friends :)

If she just completley blows you off, or continues to be mean despite you talking to her, I think you really have to think about if you want to be dealing with someone like that. No-one deserves to have someone treat them like that. If she values your friendship, she’ll come round, and if not, then she’s losing out on a friend who cares about her very much.

I hope that you can resolve your problems together. She might be going through a tough time at home or emotionally in general, and she might be taking it out on you because you’re her closest friend. So, when you talk to her, just be gentle and within it ask if she’s doing all right. That way she’ll know you’re willing to understand why she’s being that way, if it’s for another reason.

How about talking to a friendly drama teacher at your school about this?
If you’re in Year 11 and doing you GCSE’s, they might recommend that you take an A Level drama course, then progress onto a degree course in Drama.
I don’t know of the routes into the industry, but try talking to people who are either already there, or have some experience of what what can be good training.

Apart from that, just keep your eyes open for any local performances, competitions, anything drama related that catches your eye, and go for it! The more experience the better, and a lot of these things can be absolutley free!
You seem really keen which is great! That is the most important thing ^^
So just keep at it ^^! You’re still pretty young, you have your whole life ahead of you! You just have to think about what qualifications you want to have, and maybe getting some A Levels first would be a good idea. But it’s really what’s best for you :)
Try and talk to a teacher or someone who’s already in the Industry, they’ll hopefully be able to put your mind at ease and give you some useful advice from first-hand experience.
