  I will tell you, however, that chivalry is not dead. And when a girl shows appreciation for the little things you do, that’s one indicator of someone decent.
  
  As for being there for people when they are sad versus not doing so, it depends.
  What I do when I know that someone is down is ask, “Do you want me to stay and possibly talk, or should I leave you alone?”
  Sometimes we want to talk, or a shoulder to lean on. Sometimes we want to be alone and shut out the world and not have to deal with anyone for a while.
  Respect people’s wishes so you can help them to the best of your ability. :)

  Facebook is always a temptation, and it really is just up to you to enforce it. If you can busy yourself with other things, this should ease up a bit. Hopefully it’ll ease up on its own once you get more homework coming back from winter break. But really Facebook isn’t too big a concern. I’d just leave it open in a tab. If the tab flashes or shows a notification, check it. If it merely says “Facebook”, there is nothing to check, so you should not check. Prohibit yourself from clicking on the Facebook tab when nothing is there.
  
  As for Girl #1, not having time does just mean not having time. She isn’t purposely avoiding the things you show her; the fact that she gave you so much music means she isn’t meaning to push you away at all. Give her gentle reminders if she seems forgetful of it, and possibly give her motivation to check them out and share her opinion so you can show her other things she might like.
  
  As for The Unattainable, your feelings are not “wrong” in any way. Feelings are almost never wrong, but actions can be. Whether or not you act on your emotions is up to you. People become more attractive to us when they are taken, and I’m sure you realize that. It’s not like you have a commitment to Girl #1; it’s perfectly fine for you to be looking around. However, this is a girl you should steer clear of in romance. Eyecandy is just that: look, but don’t touch. You’ve already said that you like her looks, but not her personality; even if she weren’t taken, she’d be a bad match for you.
  
  It is absolutely normal to fancy more than one person at a time, so I hope you aren’t worrying about that.
