I can tell you that my cat dies on Monday night and I’m absolutely CONVINCED he consumed something toxic, similar to what you describe, I am absolutely DEVASTATED. He died in my arms in total agony. It was probably not a meow you heard, more like a yowling wail/scream … that’s the closest I can call it, it’s absolute agony, if I’m right and he ate something contaminated or poisoned, it paralysed him and it was the most distressing scene I’ve ever witnessed, I feel angry that some people post such blase comments about it being quick, it was excruciating and I know in my heart that it was something poisonous, as he was a very lively energetic and joyful cat before. - written 2 years, 11 months ago
