  sorry if I haven’t helped anyone, I have been at the hospital the last 3 days, and all day today, my husband is still there, it’s nite 3 for him. I have no idea how long he will need to stay, the hospital is totally running all kinds of tests, but July 31st, is close, –time, money,have to move out of this park,very sick husband,(top priority)find a place, by myself. Lyn (my husband), certainly cannot help. It is all up to me, he’s down, and will be for awhile. I promise, i will try to be a good soldier, and stay strong, and get to steppin . Sometimes, all you’ve got, and all you can do, is look up and talk to the ceiling. Try it sometimes, it is a wonderful listener,– and never talks back.! Please forgive me guys, I’m not doing to good right now, need to sign off for a bit., thanks everyone–beyond-beyond, i can feel you, just scared,worried, and overwhelmed. love to you all —–sandy

• I am in a situation and I don’t know what to do?
  

  I would give anything to be able to talk and communicate with my husband at this time. You never know what you have until it is gone. We have a tendancy to take things for granted, always expecting it to be there, until it’s not anymore. my guy is hooked up with IV’s everywhere,oxygen, tubes, his color is off, even tho i know he is resting, his being is not here amongst us, so all i can do is put it in God’s hands, and God cannot help us if we keep getting in his way. So take a moment, a deep breath, is it really that bad? Could part of it be you as well? Is it savable, do you care if you break up?, if you lose each other? Is there anything about the two of you together worth missing, that perhaps, we tend to expect it, ya know. If you are fair to yourself, and always remember—The truth will always set you free, if you’re fair, take part of the blame, weed out the poop, keep the good, and be so very thankful, you two won’t have to see each other, like I have to see my person, he just can’t see me right now, Look what is in my life right now, look what I face, its not a good time right now, I have quite alot on my plate, try to never fill your plate too full, its hard to see what there really is . I’m hoping you gave things a bit of importance for a moment, then if your thoughts were fair,honest and most important. honest to yourself, then the truth will set your decisions free on the right course. I wish I could watch my guy, come thru our front door, to give a big hug to, and be glad he’s here for me, but its not in my cards right now, my cards actually suck everywhere at this moment. Count your blessings, thank God for your good health,if you dont have your health, nothing else matters, life takes a back seat real quick. give yourself a break, unless, he’s abusive, is it worth the time to weigh the pros and cons? have him read this, I would give anything to be where you two are at right now. good luck, be kind to one another, remmember– its not what you say– its how you say it!   well, my husband is in the hospital,they have him on major meds, for the pain, I haven’t got to talk with him much, they have him very sedated.It is his 2nd nite there, and boy when its illness, you really need to get a grip, I hope i can pull this off! I have got quite the task, and time is not being very kind, thanks for the just being there, i feel kinda alone at this time, hard to think, concentrate, ya know? He needs to come thru this surgery, and then i can continue, right now even tho financial is the major, someone very ill, that you love,need, and miss, and wish would get well asap, has no $ sign.

• sometimes my parents tell me to do all these things to do like chores.
  

  you know,my sister never spent or paid any attention to her 3 boys. She always bought them., meaning, gave them money to be out of the way, she had dates, where they would go 4-wheelin, great for the boys, but they were always with me,she never took them, never participated in sports,etc., just birthday parties. Scott the oldest, started to get in trouble, where no high school in the area would accept him, because he was so angry, he was violent with teachers as well. He was an expert fly fisherman, in fact at 15 1/2 he was the youngest bass-master to this day. When he could not even attend continuation school, I asked my sister if I may take him with me and my 3 kids,(scott’s cousins)to stay and live with us in Oregon. Ah—-The Mackenzie River, The Willamette River, (WILL-AM-ETTE), Steelhead trout, Salmon, etc..Perfect for a fisherman, and what beauty—I put CHORES on the fridge every week for the kids to do every day after school. Every week I would change them around from dishes, to dusting, to vacuuming, raking leaves, etc., and they had to do their homework too., before they could go have fun, so I could check all homework, when i got home.,I also enrolled him in high-school, alot of work at first, but I made sure I was in charge of his attendance,his homework, his monitoring, if he screwed up,—no fishing!!!! what punishment for a fisherman,after having to give up some fishing, where his soul was, he stepped up to the plate, even finished with a B- at the end of his junior year. To this day he tells me constantly, when we see each other(i am the favorite aunt of these 3 boys), that he begged my sister,his mother to put chores on the fridge, she never did.
  She never cared, never loved enough to put in the time.,not even a piece of paper on the fridge, so huge to him,so wanting that feeling of being wanted and important, not payed to go away, like always.
  He told me when he has children, he will put chores on the fridge, and pay them their allowance weekly, like I did to them. HE FELT LOVE. IT WASN’T THE CHORES, IT WAS THE DISCIPLINE– SOMEBODY CARED. DISCIPLINE IS LOVE, NOT CHORES!!hE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO GRADUATED,the other 2 never finished, all my kids,2boys,1girl, graduated, and i put them thru college,i’m so proud of them. They are my best compliment.
  Today scott is the vp/gen. manager of a major automobile financial firm, married, and owns his own home in Mission Viejo, Calif., bought it without any help from family, at 26 years old. The house cost around 4-5 hundred thousand. the other 2 boys, 24 and 21, live with my sister, and don’t pay rent.Chores are for so many reasons of life, they carry alot of weight, and will make you who you are to be someday, and decide how you will fair in society, and the rules. NEVER FORGET THAT!! SCOTT, REMINDS, ME AS WELL AS MY OWN KIDS,EVERYDAY, HOW MUCH I LOVED THEM. THAT’S THE DUTY OF ALL PARENTS!
