have you tried expressing your feelings in a note or making her a mixed CD with lyrics that connect to how you feel about her. that may be a good way to break the ice.

sometimes you have to let people go. and sometimes you have to call them on their stuff. real friends keep it real with each other. at the end of the day, you can’t “help” someone who doesn’t want to be helped. let him know how his behavior is affecting you and that you see him slipping and isolating himself and want to be there to support him but don’t want to tolerate him putting you down anymore.

the upside is that you’re feeling less mood swings. is the down side that you’re not able to express your anger? what have you tried? for me writing helps. and getting physical. kickboxing really helped me express and get in touch with my anger. so does screaming and hitting a pillow.

yes! i’ve definitely felt like that. usually my son and what life will be like without me is what kept me going. so i used that tiny bit of motivation to reach out for help and support to deal with all the feelings that felt so overwhelming. i’d call suicide prevention lines, reach out to my 2 best friends who i knew wouldn’t judge me, let myself cry, write and post on help for support. it does pass. even when it feels like it won’t. and since doing those things, i started feeling like that less and less. everything is temporary.
