No, we are all still here in Texas. Gayla has offered me a spot up where she is and I am seriously considering her offer. I would be able to get away from much of my familial crap as well as learn to deal with a colder environment. :)

Things are pretty good for me, I am getting a second job and thinking of finally moving out and living alone, or at least away from my mom and sister.

Hm. I’m getting my Master’s in Elementary Ed. I’m three classes plus comps away from it.

However, the more time I spend in the schools, and the more I have seen, either professionally, as a Christian, and as a mother….the more disappointed I am. I’m considering homeschooling…though I’m not sure if I have what it takes…lol

Or tutoring. I’ve thought about tutoring or maybe even starting a kindergarten readiness sort of daycare…

I am kind of in business for myself…I sell Mary Kay; mystery shop (home based businesses); and I’m the financial person in our house, and have purchased some rental properties (before and after marriage) that I maintain. Those are all sort of “being in business for myself…” But I’d like to write a book; make more money somehow…without having to go back to work. LOL :)

Hm. Maybe I will look that up. We have some serious medical bills that will be coming in soon and I need to figure out a way to make some extra cash :s

Wow! Three finished stories!! I’m impressed! Maybe you are too hard on yourself and they are great…’course I do understand the need to edit.

Sometimes, though, with this book that I want to write, I feel like I’ve bitten off more than I can chew…the story has been inside of me for a long time, though, so I think it has to be told. It’s just a matter of organizing my thoughts into a coherent story and then organizing that story into something a few ppl would want to read….”just….” LOL

Maybe I’ll try to work for guru.com. Is it hard to get a job with them? I know about working for pennies…I do mystery shopping, and it doesn’t pay much at all, but it’s a way to bring in a little bit of income/enhance our lifestyle…and I can schedule it around the rest of my life, so it works.

LOL. You know Sans, right? He said, when I told him that I got that much done that quickly, that he read a recommendation that a writer should just “go for it…” :) I can write a pretty good poem in about 10 minutes.

I’ve been working on it for about a week and a half. It’s about me, my daughter and my mom…kind of a “full circle” sort of thing…how my daughter is my inspiration and is teaching me to be a better mom than the example that I had. Though that is sort of the “plot” of the book, and that is not fiction…the actual events in the book will be mostly fiction.

Yeah, sometimes it does seem difficult to succeed as an adult…I sometimes wonder about being a “mommy,” and if that is enough. I obviously don’t think so, b/c I am in grad school….but I think God wants it to be ‘enough.’

I am not sure you get what I am saying. The dollar isn’t going to go back up. It can’t. This has been long in coming and there are more things that are straining it even now. I am saying that gold is going to go up and not go back down.

Oh my… Have you tried using thieves oil? It works well for me. I forgot that you lived in such a cold place; it would be hard to get out. I would suggest making it if you were to try it. Cheaper that way and you could dilute it more than normal because it is for your daughter.

I just thought I would mention something to you. I am not sure if you would be interested, but it looks like it is going to go up pretty soon. I am not sure how your currency is doing, but the US dollar is going to tank completely. Gold has been hovering around the thousand dollar point for a bit and now it has nearly reached 1060. I have heard that gold is going to double and silver triple. As I said, I am not sure if you or your husband would be able to take advantage of this, but if you want to its there. Just lettin’ you know.

Yeah, I feel pretty disorganized myself. I felt the need to CLEAN when I came home…hahahahaaha. That overdid it for me!

Nobody else has the swine flu. Not yet anyway, but I’ve been sort of isolated, to try to prevent it

My son had bronchitis/asthma. He’d been sick for a long time.

I had pneumonia/swine flu. I’m still sort of contagious. Apparently the swine flu “sloughs off” the carrier for 7 days after the fever leaves.

My husb took a couple days off of work, and he went back to work for the first time tonight. I was so weak that I just gave my kids cereal for dinner :s
