in this post, you are clearly trying to help, and that’s awesome. You’ve miss understood a bit of information though. It’s not the 30th of Jan, but the date they turn 30, which is in Jan. Fat B was being rude IMO in his first reply, and it sounded like he was begin rude again, but he was correct in saying it was their birthday.

Just curious as to where ‘the line’ was, so to speak. Be aware that whilst some will way you haven’t crossed it, some will say you crossed it ages ago. Maybe bear that in mind when telling other people they have crossed the line too :)

Don’t let people bug you in these discussions about Faith or God. You were right, that the guy definitely had an attitude, but you can’t let them get to you.

Also, I don’t know about you, but I always find it funny that people that don’t believe in God always have so much to say on the matter. It’s like somebody that doesn’t believe in Math going around trying to tell everybody their views on Algebra.

They might think they’re trying to help enlighten the ignorant, by refuting the stupidity and evils of Math. But in the end, they just discredit their own beliefs.

Well, you do get input, just not overt input. Likely people don’t tell you what you should have for ideas, but you are lead to have certain ideas because of the information you get from the world. But to just go off of what we observe rather than what others tell us can work, so long as we remember that we are fallible ^^
