  Actually, the only thing that Wicca is against is INTOLERANCE. Which you are displaying, in spades. (Okay, and anything that is against the law, of course.) It openly embraces polyamory, homosexuality, nudists, fortune telling, spell casting, drinking, really loud music, the worship of multiple gods and goddesses, lewd and lascivious behavior, and a host of other things that adherents of every mainstream religion are against for no other reason besides their literature telling them that they’re supposed to be. (On a side note: No christian camp can compete against a Pagan festival. We’ve got home made wine in dozens of flavors, wild dancing and fabulous drum circles. And everyone gets along and everyone has a blast because we COMPLETELY accept each other, regardless of WHAT god(s) or goddess(es) you worship, what you’re wearing (or not wearing, as the case may be) or what kind of relationship you’re in. We *revel* in our differences, instead of persecuting and condemning each other over them. )
  
  As for Hinduism: I’m a vegetarian, as it happens. Being a Universalist and a polytheist, I have a great deal of respect for Hindus. Krishna is a fascinating god. And Hinduisn NOWHERE states that people following religions different from their own are going to a place of eternal torment after they die. So of course they’re not personally attacking anyone. Some of them even see Jesus as an avatar of Krisha; just incorporating the deity of the christians into their own pantheon, with no conflict.
  
  You’re not doing that. You’re saying either I, (any everyone like me), see your god, the same way you do, or I’m “condemned”. BIG DIFFERENCE.
  
  Matter of fact, here in Indiana, what you’re saying (that anyone in particular is “going to “hell”) is legally referred to as “unprotected speech: fighting words” and can be prosecuted as a form of assault. Seriously.

  I’ve descended to his level because I reported his posts and they weren’t removed. If the mods won’t take action to uphold the policies of this site, I’ll do the only thing left to me to do to defend myself.

  Aranea is Latin for cobweb. Cobweb is the darkest of the four named fairies serving Titania in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Cobwebs are, of course, the product of spiders, which I love.
  
  Sometimes adorable, often beautiful, always the gardener’s friend; spiders are small, often furry and usually harmless. And yet most people would rather kill them or get as far away from them as possible. I genuinely sympathize with spiders. When I find one at work, I put it in a container, bring it home, and set it free on my porch. My basement is veritable spider’s paradise. I wouldn’t have it any other way. ;)
  
  Actually, I have three little spiders in a half pond container in my bag right now. I better go let them out. :D

  My opinion, (and all it is is my opinion); based on the information that you’ve given, is that you can do better. Ignore her. Let her be unhappy, if that’s what she is. If she really loves you, she’ll come back. The apt phrases here are: “She made her own bed, now she has to lie in it”, and “If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it’s yours. If it doesn’t, it never was.”
  
  Even if she really loves you, and she truly did just meet this guy after your fight, her behavior has not been the behavior of someone in love and seeking a genuine, committed relationship.

  Replying to myself to add: If you just CANNOT afford to take him to a vet, do the compassionate thing and take him to the humane society. They’ll either treat whatever is wrong with him and try to find him a good home with someone who can afford to take care of him; or euthanize him so that he can pass away peacefully, without pain. Either one would be far better than dying a slow, painful death with a family that can’t do anything to help him.

  Morals are nothing more than accepted behavioral norms. I like what LaVey said on the subject best: “Good is what you like, evil, is what you don’t like.”
  
  So then the question becomes: Why don’t more of us like killing each other, and why don’t more of us choose not to become parents? I think the answers to that lie purely in our psychology. We are naturally a social species. Preserving our own is in our DNA. Reproduction is the goal of all life, so it only follows that we would want to do that.
  
  So to answer your original question:
