I am a waitress at a small restaurant that I drive to work 18 miles to do breakfasts 3 times a week for about 15 dollrs in tips and minimum wage, hard area to get a good job. My husband has been working at hog farms until he had to have total knee reconstructive surgery after a work related injury. We bought this home and 5 acres 4 years ago, and have woked our you know whats off to make it a home, as it was listed as uninhabitable when we bought it on the contract for deed. when my mom was diagnosed with cervical cancer, I knew I had to stay and take care of her, and for that I gave up a part time job at the home depot, no big deal at the time, people are so much more important than money, so we refinanced to pay off the contract for deed and pay off what we owed in bills. When they came for the closing, my mom had just passed away the night before, I was os out of it, they do not tell you that you have the right to not sign(countrywide home loans) so I signed my soul away to the devil for way too much in payments per month. I have 3 grown daughters, 2 of there husbands are in the army, and 1 has been over to Afghanistan, and border control here as well, he had to leave when my grandson, his son was 5 weeks old, returned 17 months later. I have 5 grandsons, all are great!! My husband has 6 kids,well had, I don’t know how to say all of this, his oldest daughter was killed in an auto accident 3 years ago, she was 18,3 months before she was to graduate from high school, her name Amanda, miss her a lot. Ya we have had some really hard times,makes me want to just give up so much of the time.But I keep thinking somehow someway it will all get better.Good people just don’t stand a chance anymore.
