I desperately need a F****** job. I have been F****** looking since F****** February. I’ve had a F****** great deal of F****** personal tragedy this past F****** year and now that I am F****** ready to go back to F****** work nothing seems to F****** even get me an F****** interview. Primarily, my F****** background is in the F****** technical side of F****** pharmacy but I F****** have other F****** experience in F****** different aspects of F****** healthcare. I would be F****** willing to do F****** anything on a legitimate and F****** legal level. I F****** am well F****** experienced in gaining F****** employment (applying, interviewing, etc.) so I F****** believe it’s just the F****** market is so F****** bad right now. I just need a F****** chance again. I would be F****** willing to take any F****** position. I am a very quick F****** learner and F****** pride myself on being F****** cross-functional. My F****** dream is to go to F****** culinary school to be a F****** chef but I F****** need to work. This is my F****** desperation point. Thank you for any F****** help.”
“Dear “A******” - you get f****** absolutely no credence simply because you are f****** anonymous. I don’t f****** speak to f****** nameless f****** strangers, but I will f****** say - you don’t f****** know me. To say that I f****** jump to f****** conclusions and am f****** “hot headed” says that you are in f****** fact the one to pass judgement on people you don’t f****** know.
Sweetie, sister, can you help me to understand the — in my view — odd reaction of this poster: http://help.com/post/554359-i-need-a-…
?
Was I really rude?
Did you’ve had a look there:
Windows 7: C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\
Or what other OS is installed on your iPod5
?
Furthemore: iDump could help you too: http://www.codershole.com/downloads/i…
Run the installer; go to the start menu, idump, and run idump; Plug in your iPod 5; after installing you need to go into settings and designate an output folder on your PC; check all the songs to be copied; click “Start Copy”.
Well I was able to retain most of the content. Exactly 100 files did not copy over because they were purchased under a different iTunes account and I did not know the password to that account. I’m sure the files are still on my computer someplace just in a now hidden file that even a search can’t find. Included in those 100 files were 6 or 7 full length movies which is what I really was hoping to save. Ces’t le vie.
I’m not completely sure about all the handlings (because I’ve no experience with iPod my own).
But for sure to offload the existing G7 content and save it as files on your computer is a safe way to keep this content.
After that you can experiment with synchronization (following the advises of the given links).
Good luck!
I was able to purchase a Nano and a Classic generation7 (latest) for the price of a brand new generation7; $240. But both have some content already installed yes.
So if I understand correctly; offload the current content on the G7. Sync w/iTunes bringing on the old G5 files. Then add the aforementioned current content back on being selective what it is I wish to retain. After the offload do I need to reformat the drive on the G7?
Sorry for all the questions. I just figure I got one stab at this….
You said, that the G7 is new? How can there be much content on it?
So it’s not a really new one, and you got some content stuff with?
But of course, you can sync THE SAME CONTENT only with the old G5 OR the new G7. but not with both. But, I guess, it should work, if the existing content of the G7 is different from the one of G5.
But anyway you should be able to copy (means not: sync!) the existing music content of the G7 to your computer, just by transferring the files somewhere there (but not into iTunes!) to save them before you try the transfer from G5.
Yes. The music from the g5 is already on the computer. If I sync to itunes NOW though I will lose all the current content on the g7 completely. Apple only allows 1 ipod to sync with 1 computer at a time. When you change the computer that an ipod is used to it doesn’t allow the old files to be retained. Complicating matters is the possibility that the g7 used to be synched with a MAC computer (unsure about this). I have Windows7.
Hey twin-sister of a different mother;
I have a Ipod sync issue. I have iTunes which was previously linked with a g5 classic iPod. It took a crap and I just bought today a g7 classic iPod. How do I keep some of the files that are currently on the g7 and 99% of the music files on the g5 and make everyone happy including the FBI? Since I bought the g7 I am entitled to keep those files as ‘owner’, correct?
I knew you would know which is why I didn’t start a new post. Thanks dear.
Sorry Zirbel….
I was getting the impression from you that you were tired of putting forth the effort to help Kerie. I’m sure there have been other poster’s, young and old that you felt the same way about them. Why single her out? Yes she is clamoring for attention. But why is that wrong? If you want to stop helping her that is totally your right and I respect that. You still would be an excellent helper in my opinion.
That doesn’t bother me. Same could be said of me and I’m sure others have said it. We can’t make them pickup the phone and make the important choices that we think they should make. We can only give them the tools to do so. How they proceed afterwards is up to them. And i know you may have felt the same way about others here too. So why is it you are letting Kerie get to you?
But there are also clues that she is abusing this help.com site just for attention-grabbing.
Such as eluding always concretely asked questions about the background of all this.
If you analyze carefully her other posts.
Sure, she would need that.
But she could easily become all kind of help, IF EVER she would contact the authorities at her place in the U.K.
But just this she avoids to do.
If I had unlimited means and money I’d try and remove her from the situation she is in. A foster family that would get her the help she needs and would truly love and respect her. Every kid deserves that. I’m really surprised she has enough forethought to realize that she needed help and came to us. Got to give her props at least for that.
Well her mom turning to alcohol is not really helping her either. That may be part of the whole problem here from way back.
I try to live my life by two important principals. From Mother Teresa’s poem ANYWAY.
“The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.”
Unfortunately, I think, Kerie is somehow help resistent.
Obviously she has a severe mental disorder, on the other hand she abuses all kind of help and support here. As you know from her other posts.
She should be rushed to the mental clinic.
Until yesterday it was sunny and warm here too.
But now autumn is on the way, snow comes closer.
Now it’s about 53.5 F (12 C).
I hate the winter half-year.
