If he cheats, let him go. I know it’s hard, but it’s the only thing to do. If he cheats now, there’s no guarantee he won’t do it again. I hope things work out for you.

I know how it goes, as my best friend fights with this problem as well. What she does, is if she can, she asks to leave, calms herself, then returns. If she can’t, look away, take a moment to clear her head, then look back/continue. I don’t know if this will help you, but this is what she does.

Well, I’m not sure if you want to hear the ones I have if you’re still on an airplane, as they are my mothers, and shes been in many close-calls on planes.

Try listening to music while looking at the sheet music. Only doing one or the other will make you unable to do one or the other. In order to play by ear, you must hear the correct sounds for each note, and you need to see the note, or else just listening to it will damage your reading skills. I would also try doing exercises, and not just music. That will help with finding the right keys while reading the music. Hope this helps :)
