I have a problem, if you can help me, I don’t know if you are allowed to say or not but I would like to know.
Was oldfart banned or did they leave?
It’s just that oldfart was here and now gone and I can’t see any evidence of them wanting to go, I know oldfart was a little unhappy with th waythings were run but I can’t imagine them leaveing and not anything..

That post did not show up on the home page because one of the words triggered the automated adult filter and “adult” posts do not appear on the home page.
There is no set number of warnings before a ban. Contrary to popular belief, long-term users actually get a few warnings before a ban whereas a new user may only get one or two.

I have a few questions for you, when you feel bored and need something to pass the time.

I had a post this morning that did not go to the home page and from what I can gather it was rated 18+ but there was no content in it that I can see that would require an adult tag on it… So if you know why for that I would be gratefull :)

Also, I am a little worried now, How many warnings do you give one person before they get banned and also do you tell someone that they are banned beofre you do it? Or is it just something you find out when you try to log in?
Is it like maybe 3 warnings then a ban or something like that?
I need to know as I am scared to reply to anything incase I get another warning and what if I’m on the last?

So yes anyway, when you have a free moment that would be great :)

Well I have never read other peoples shouts, only when I am directed to, I see them as private even though they are open for anyone, I just click shouttrail and that way I don’t see anything that is not meant for me, but been a little undecided lately, well you know, so I thought why not, and have read everything and anything I can get my hands on… I can see why people do it now, and I can also see how people end up in fights too…

Well, I was in a nosey mood so have spent most the afternoon reading other peoples shouts, don’t really do that but I have found it to be quite interesting, then I found shouts that I had to say something, being the nosey parker I am, plus I felt it was wrong for you to get attacked for doing your job, plus everything was in the rules, they just wanted to read around that bit, and with you not being able to say much back with being the profesional person you are, I did it for you… Hope you didn’t mind that.

I would like to add that I read the TOS before meakeing that post as I didn’t want to get in trouble, I named no names, I was not nasty and I made a clear outline that I was not attacking anyone.

I just got confused, I went to shout someone and it says that they are banned, I don’t know how or why and I am not asking for any details as I know you can’t give that out, all I wanted to say was that he is a really nice person and I doubt anything he did was that serious, so please could you possibly reconsider him being banned?
I know he enjoys it her and I do talk to him often on this site and I would hate too loose a friend.
I know you are just doing your job and that he must have done something aginst the TOS but I would be gratefull if you could think about letting him back :)
